Day 22. Pencils Lines

Hello Friends, Happy Friday to you! When this lands in your inbox I will be on the plane to Toronto Canada to teach to classes. Still lots to do lol so this will be somewhat quick.

Also I am not going to post on my blog while I am away because it’s just to much for me but, I will be back Monday and I will be posting my coloring on Instagram. Sorry about that but, I know you all are the sweetest and don’t mind.

I hope I am able to finish up these beautiful flowers called “Pretty Poppy‘” from Concord & 9th. For these flowers I used the new Whisper grey no line coloring ink from Gina K. Designs. So soft and pretty.

E50 is the best layering color. You save time starting with some light markers when using pencils.

Here we go again with those tips lol. S.H.A.R.P. right!

It takes practice not pressing to hard so you don’t burnish your coloring and are able to build up light layers of color.

Is the look of lines growing on you?

Thanks for your visit and understanding. Off to pack. Have a wonderful weekend. Hugs, Kathy

P.S.  There are 3 ways to share what you are coloring. If you want to join a community of coloring enthusiasts I recommend  FaceBook or Instagram. Be sure to tag me and use the hashtag #thedailymarker30day. Kids & young adults use #thedailymarker30daykids.

The 3rd way is to link up to my blog to share your coloring click here to link up.

This is so incredibly awesome. I love how you made those pencil lines Kathy. The flowers therefore seem so real, I want to learn that!
I reckon that I have to practice, practice and practice and need a very sharp pencil, I will give this certainly a try.
Thank you for showing Kathy, I hope you have a great time in Canada and come home safely again. See you monday!

I know you are always very busy, I don’t ask if it can be tomorrow ( would be nice if it is so LOL!!!) but hope in the nearby future.
      Thanks and see you tomorrow.

Oh my gosh, I love how you did those flowers! I always associate poppy’s with The Wizard of Oz but yours look so different. I like how you did them. I like all the lines in the flowers too. You always make it look so easy but how come when I do it, it doesn’t look like yours? I don’t know why. I do know though that I have to keep my pencils very sharp, which I always do. I want to try your technique as I have to make a card for my aunts birthday next month & it will be flowers. We shall see how it comes out. Of course I probably won’t be able to show you because this will be over before I can. Oh well, there is the next coloring challenge, right?

Welcome Friends!
