Day 20. Crafty Notes from Gina K. Designs

Hello Friends, How was your day? Are you getting slammed with some snow? There is a chance I might wake up to a white blanket of snow ! Not sure if I am excited about that or not lol. It’s been crazy around here prepping for my classes in Toronto this coming weekend and keeping up with the challenge. All good things for sure just need a few extra hours in the day.

Crafty Notes is a new stamp set from Gina K. Designs and there are so many wonderful sentiments and images I had to stamp 6 of them to make some small cards to have on hand.

I have been raving about the new ink amalgam from Gina K. Designs. My favorite is Warm Glow and it’s what I used yesterday for some no line coloring. The best part of her amalgam inks is that you can use them for watercolor OR alcohol markers.

These card bases screaming for some colored pencil details but, I had to stop myself.

On another note if you are interested this is how I obtain so many colors on my paint palette.

That’s it for today and stay cozy or cool depending on what part of the world you are in. Hugs, Kathy

P.S.  There are 3 ways to share what you are coloring. If you want to join a community of coloring enthusiasts I recommend  FaceBook or Instagram. Be sure to tag me and use the hashtag #thedailymarker30day. Kids & young adults use #thedailymarker30daykids.

The 3rd way is to link up to my blog to share your coloring click here to link up.

Gorgeous little cards Kathy. I love also the awesome stamp set by Gina K. I think this one is very versatile and can be used for a lot of other things beside cardmaking.

The weather here is a little bit crazy, it suppose to be winter but it is sunny and 13° celcius, that’s about 56° fahrenheit, normaly fot this time of year it is 5° celcius (41° fahrenheit). You even can sit in the sun if you are out of the wind.

I also wish sometimes to have more hours in one day. Only think it wouldn’t help, whe than still would need more timeLOL.

Thanks for sharing, have a great day and see you tomorrow.

Thank you so much, Henriette! I am glad you are having slightly warmer temperatures that average and I hope you are enjoying the sunshine out of the wind 🙂

Gina K’s amalgram ink sure does look interesting so it was perfect to see that you used it with her note card stamps. Love that you left white space on the cards. It is blowing snow right now but freezing rain is to move in before turning to rain. Yuck! Weather looks much better for the weekend. Have a safe journey to Toronto and we shall see you soon. I can guarantee a wonderful time and that Catherine and her team will take really good care of you. She is amazing.

Sandy, I really love the amalgam ink! I appreciate your kind words regarding my notecards. Wishing you nicer weekend weather 🙂

I love these Gina K stamps but I don’t know about the sentiments for me. I wouldn’t know who to use them for! I love how you colored those note cards! The person who gets them will be someone very special & I’ll bet they will love them. I know I would. I posted a whole lot of cards that I made! I can’t believe how many I hope you didn’t see. I’m never sure which one’s I’ve posted on other coloring challenges.
As for weather, we had a little snow today & then we got freezing rain or sleet, I’m not sure which. Before the freezing rain/sleet the sand trucks came to sand the roads. Our driveway has a coating on it & the last I checked, it was 20 degrees out! It’s cold! Our driveway is probably dangerous to walk on. Tomorrow afternoon it’s supposed to get up to 50! We are sure having some weird weather!
Have fun on all your adventures. Wish I could be there with you so we could meet & color together.

I am grateful for your support, Gail! We are having very similar weather too, Gail. Cold snow/sleet/ice, then warm days right after. I am looking forward to Spring 🙂
