Day 2. Snow Birds

Hello Friends! Happy weekend to you. Quick question …  Did you get my Day 1. post in your inbox? If not click here to see it. Sorry about that and will have to figure that out. On another note it’s Day 2. of the coloring challenge and I am so glad you are reading this! Woo Hoo!

Today I have a sneak peek to share of a class I will be teaching this month in Toronto. It was such an honor to be asked to teach at the Scrapbook & Cards Today Crop & Create. If you are going please let me know I would love to meet you! The Scrapbook & Cards Today retreats sell out so fast! If you have interest in the future retreats you might want to register on their web site if you aren’t already.

I would love to see you in one of my classes. Above is the peek of my class called, “Take Three”. Below is the peek of my class called “Sharp Tips”. I am pretty emphatic about a sharp pencil … hence the name lol.

Birds I love and gravitate towards any stamp that features a bird. When I saw these beautiful Snow Birds from Gina K. Designs I fell in love immediately. During the last coloring challenge I inked them up here. The backgrounds were watercolored with the Altenew Watercolor Brush Markers on this paper. The Snow Birds were stamped with Amalgam Ink from Gina K on 110lb cardstock. (the ink can be used for watercolor or markers…YES!)

After coloring the snow birds with markers I added colored pencil detail … with a sharp tip! If you want good results I promise that sharp tip makes a difference!

To finish of my card I used some of Lucy’s sequins. I love her mixes because of the color & size variations.

Off to see what you all are coloring and I am super excited. Have a great weekend and see you tomorrow. Hugs, Kathy

P.S.  There are 3 ways to share what you are coloring. If you want to join a community of coloring enthusiasts I recommend  FaceBook or Instagram. Be sure to tag me and use the hashtag #thedailymarker30day. Kids & young adults use #thedailymarker30daykids.

The 3rd way is to link up to my blog to share your coloring click here to link up.

P.S.S. If you have any questions about the coloring challenge you can refer to this post . If you want to get my posts in your mailbox you can sign up here or subscribe to my videos here.

Couldn’t really see much of the birds so it’s hard to really make an honest comment Kathy. The background colors from what we could see were nice and bright.

Side note: For some reason I am not getting your posts so I am back-tracking on the blog in case you wonder why I am posting so randomly. LOL
