These flowers stamps are soooo delightful and you can dress them up or dress them down for a more simple card. They beg me to add white dots lol.

So many of the stamps are such fun to create scenes with. If only I had more time….I am sure you say that a few times a day like I do.

I used my super fine tip marker to add some texture & pattern to the clothes.

My no fail background texture trick with this solution and a nubby rag …are  you tired of hearing about this yet?

love what you have done . Great cards. Such an inspiration! But I have a question. I want to try your texture technique so yesterday I bought a blending refill but am not sure what you mean by a nubby rag. Not being a rag person I am looking at bying something to fit this need. Any input on what to get?

    • Kathy Racoosin says

      February 24, 2016 at 9:48 pm

A old terry cloth towel or washcloth will do the trick. You’re looking for a fiber sticking up texture. You’ll see me fluffing the rag with my fingers to fluff up the texture again when I reapply the blending solution. I hope this explains “nubby”. 🙂

I love your card and how you used all the different colors on the flowers and the dots. You are a dots lover, aren’t you? They are my favorite shape too. For some reason I love circles. Big ones, little ones, medium sized ones, I love them all. I love the card with the hands and the hats. If only there were more hours in the day so we could stamp and make cards and stamp fabric! If only we didn’t have to eat, or do housework, or go to work or doctor’s appointments, we could stamp our lives away! Sigh! LOL Oh well, we have to with what little time we have.
I’m doing a card or cards for the Winnie and Walter contest. I love contests and especially if I win. I’ve only one once and I’m not complaining but I am overdue I think.
Thank the Lord we are all okay in my family tonight. We had some pretty wild weather here. Lots of rain, heavy winds, 50-60 mph, and thunder and lightening. We still have power and no water in our basement. Some people weren’t so lucky.

Wow. Just seen the email. What an awesome post to win from with the hands stamp. That set is just awesome and I believe with the 25 bucks I just may have to own that for myself.
Thank you very much for doing these 30 day challenges and for being so generous. You seem like a down to earth light hearted free spirit type of person. I’ve gathered that from watching your YouTube videos. I always get a laugh out of them especially when you get off track sometimes and say “well whatever”.
Keep it up and thanks again
