two cards for die cut divas spotlight

Hello …. hello again Friends, How was your weekend? I hope it was a good one 🙂
Today I created two cards for Die Cut Divas Challenge Blog today. You can read about the master minds behind Die Cut Divas Challenge Blog here. I can tell you that these are special ladies, Hannah, Arlene, Dawn & Paula. I consider all of them my friends. We all met through Hero Arts way back in the day!
Both of my cards have totally adorable images but, what they both have in common is that I used the same stencil and die cut. I created night and day scenes with Simon’s stencil to give them entirely two different looks.
Here & here are two another cards I created with the, “Create a Scene” stencil. If you need any tips on coloring a hedgehog click here. The busy hedgehog from Penny Black is called, “Sweet & Cute”
This adorable witch is called, “Air-Hag” from Art Impressions. If you are new to stencils they are fast and fun ways to create a background. I prefer using distress ink because it’s easy to get nice depth and dimension with the distress ink colors. Have you tried Embossing Paste yet? I fell in love quickly with the paste. I used it for the moon and in person it’s looks so dimensional and spooky! I hope you will stop by the Die Cut Diva’s Challenge Blog today. Stay tuned for a Copic tutorial and more inspiration from the Divas. Have a great day! Hugs, Kathy
