Summer Butterflies

Hello Friends, Just popping in to post something and I’m sorry it’s been so long . I hope you are have a nice summer with cool breezes.
It's your day
This beautiful butterfly from Penny Black came on vacation with us so I had the luxury of coloring it and taking my time. I used Copics and Tombow watercolor markers on white paper. That reminds me Simon Says Stamp is now carrying Tombow. If you give Tombow a try I think you will be pleased. The blending can be so much easier.

It's your day

The sentiment and the black fancy boarder (in the side) is one of SRM new 2012 stickers …..  I love them!! SRM blog is debuting more and there may still be time for the giveaway. Have a happy day and thanks for stopping! Hugs, Kathy

If you have any cool breezes there, sista, kindly send them this way, would ya? This card is very cooling – just lovely. And thanks for letting us know that Tombow is at SS now……we’ve lost most of our local sources here.

beautiful coloring, Kathy! yes, i missed your creation! 😉 But everybody needs Vacation, esp., with the family 🙂 Glad you brought some markers to color them in 🙂 It seems summer is always busy for most people.. esp. here cuz the short summer! When i was in the tropical islands, I didn’t have to Choose the time to do stuff, esp. outside but could’ve done anytime of the year, so i wasn’t that busy in so called “summer”! LOL! 🙂

This looks super the way you have placed the butterflies interlinking & off the edge – I hadn’t thought of combining Copics & Tombows – will have to give that a go. The colours are so effective with the cardstock layering too. Glad you were able to have some time away.

Love your butterflies!! I agree about Tombow, I have used their blending pens for years and almost went crazy trying to find another when my lst one finally gave out.
