DAY 6. ORANGE You Great!

Hello Friends! How are you? How was your weekend? I sure hope it was a good one!

Today I am back with one more of these line drawings because I enjoy painting them so much. Usually I work on these for a few days in different spurts. Here is a quick video how I draw the lines. When I am drawing the lines I use any flat edge (If I don’t have a ruler) and I don’t worry about the where the lines are going or where to place them I just do it.

So far I have completed four of these watercolor paintings! So relaxing. What do you color to relax and get in the zone? I would love to hear in the comments if you have a minute.

Thanks for stopping by your visit is always so appreciated. See you tomorrow. Hugs, Kathy

I no longer watercolour whatever stamp I blindly pull from my stash. But I want to give your line drawing a try. It does look awesome.

Wow, Kathy – just love all four colors of your line drawn image (reminds me of a succulent). Will be watching your video in a bit – thanks for the fun challenge; I’m still with you!!

This is gorgeous, Kathy! I think large florals bring me closest to being ‘in the zone’ that I can get, but sometimes I think too much and it’s not so relaxing. I think your line designs would be more meditative because of the repetitive, geometric design. It kind of reminds me of those zen meditation mazes! I need to try this! 🙂

Your own drawings are just gorgeous. It is a very similar pattern that I like to draw, although I usually use a triangle shape. I’ve got to say that Orange isn’t normally a colour I’m drawn to, but I do like it here.

    BEAUTIFUL!

YOU are SO CREATIVE Kathy! … I might try this on a smaller scale for a card 😉
