Day 8. My Tribe

Hello Friends, How are you? Today was one of those days and I was more in the mood for some doodle coloring rather than blending coloring.

Pink & Main have some really fun stamps and they always are a joy to color. This stamp set is called, “My Tribe” and I am excited to be giving this stamp set away with the coordinating die cut too. Woo Hoo! I added texture with a rag and some of this and then dots … lots of them.

I thought this would be a good stamp to ink up on some kraft paper. I used the same markers and I think colored pencils would be better and more vibrant.

      You should try the Copics on Kraft! It gives a completely different effect. You have to use brighter/darker colors than expected.

    Very cool! Do you think Ranger’s/Tim Holtz’s ink blending solution would give similar results to the Copic blending product?

      The Ranger alcohol ink blending solution probably would give similar results. Might not be as ‘dramatic’ as the Copic Various Ink but if you work at it, it should work. It’s worth a try!! (Maybe try on a scrap piece first) 🙂
