Day 3. Part 2 Hop & Giveaway

challenge_graphic-nov16_16x24
Hello Friends, How are you today? I am back again for Day 3 of The Daily Marker 30 Day Coloring Challenge. Today is the SECOND day of a THREE DAY blog hop that I am super excited about. Today’s hop is an Instagram hop. You can participate from your computer by creating an account if you don’t have one and leave comments on their IG account. If that doesn’t interest you don’t worry 4 random winners will be chosen from the hop yesterday.

In case you missed it …. the reason for the three day hop is to feature some of the people that have helped make this community happen with their love and support to the challenge AND spreading their love on Instagram. It’s because of them the 30 day coloring challenge has turned into such a happy & beautiful community. 🙂

If you don’t go on Instagram I am hoping that you get that community feel on the new Facebook closed group. Give it some time and take a little time to poke around and leave some love.

During the challenge I always say it’s great to color for the fun of it and not to assemble a card. I colored part of these poinsettias a few weeks ago. (did you happen to catch it in my coloring challenge video) So I was able to just futz around and finish it up last night. This is my favorite kinda coloring. Futzing around coloring 🙂

*on another note many of you have asked for a Copic friendly ink…this is what I use & I like this small size for travel*

img_1816

Instead of white dot action I used black dots with a Sharpie and I drew a white line down some of the green leaves with my gel pen.

The two photos below are previously colored poinsettias …. see I really do love this stamp lol. If you want to see them as cards click here.

Don’t want to be too negative, but following blogs is about all the time I can do. At least those on facebook yesterday gave me the link to their blog and the option to follow the link. Not really happy that Instagram requires me to sign up. Sorry, I know you are trying hard to make it easy for lots of people. I’m off to color now! PS Did you know that you can use chald markers to stamp. I did a couple of cards just as an experiment on kraft cardstock. Didn’t turn out too bad! (See, I ended on a positive note!)

Your art is simply amazing, just stunning. I am on your facebook page and so love seeing the beautiful coloring from all. I wish I could color as nice. Such beautiful work from those on the bog hop! Unfortunately I haven’t been able to color to much as I have to take hubby to the hospital each day for dressing changes for lessions on his legs and between those appts and my appts it has just been too tiring for me. I have been working on the Caring cards trying to get them finished. I had ordered a large order for me,new stamps, dies, a Mitzi which I wanted since they come out, for my Birthday on Oct 8 and as of right now the post office seems to have lost it. I’m past the point of being upset. I saved for so long.
Anyway forgive me for being troubling I just wanted to say thankyou to all who share your beautiful coloring and projects. To see them bring me happiness.

Another big thanks to you for always coming up with a new twist on your coloring. Do you ever have any failures, or do you make them all work? I wish my futzing around coloring was as lively as yours. I’ll hop off to some of the other talented artists in a bit. There really is lots of talent out there. I’m especially enjoying the ones using plain old markers or colored pencils. No Copics here yet.
