Day 4. Watercolored Postcards

this one

Hello Friends! Welcome to DAY 4 of The 30 Day Coloring Challenge.

I mentioned in my video yesterday how much you all are blowing me away with your uploads …wow!! Thank you 🙂

I always like to wet my paints before I get started so I grabbed my phone and managed a little footage. 🙂

So adorable! I am a postcard lover and have postcard scrapbooks. Whenever I go on vacation I always send a postcard from wherever I am but I have never seen plain ones that I can stamp on. I even buy some for me to take home for my collection. Where did you get them? Oh, now I see where you got yours. We used to have an arts store in our town, but it’s been about 5 years since it closed up. Where else can I get them? I would love to do some for friends. Thanks for showing us how great they look!
Today I sat outside and colored a card for a card swap. My foot was up but I didn’t stay out to long. It looked like it was going to rain.
Do you know what? I have a suggestion for our President and Donald Trump. Let’s not talk about Hillary right now because she doesn’t deserve to run for President. If everyone would take time out to color everyday and use lots of colors, the world would be a happier place. I know when I wear my favorite color which is yellow, I feel so much better. Not that I don’t feel better in lots of colors or just green or blue but yellow is a sunny and happy color for me and people have said I look so good in it, that it’s my color. Coloring makes me feel so much better and is so much fun to do. I’ll bet if people could get markers, pencils, crayons and paint, the world would be a very happy place and full of joy. Of course I also feel that way about dance too. If I come up with a saying, I’ll send it to you. Maybe we can get bumper stickers made and stamp on them with a saying and color them!

WOW – these postcards are SO CUTE, SO CHEERY and SO MUCH FUN to colour!!!
Thank you for the video Kathy, I was fascinated to see how much water you added … I really have been going too strong and heavy in my disappointing attempts.
I was really lucky to find some postcard size colouring pages, I was going to use them to practice then transform them into cards … thinking of using them as postcards now 🙂

Thanks for shooting the quick video. I’ve been coloring but have to get the pic’s out of the camera and uploaded! It’s a pain to do. But I’ve been having fun coloring up a storm.
