Day 7. All Finished

Hello Friends! How are you? It’s Day 7. of The Daily Marker Coloring Challenge. Whew! I was working on this during different parts of the day and it feels so good to finish. I love waking up every morning seeing what you all are coloring.

Just a reminder that this challenge will be only 11 days instead of 30.If you have questions about The Coloring Challenge you can refer to this blog post.

Yesterday I colored some of the petals on this flower in case you missed it. This sweet stamp from The Rabbit Hole Designs is called “Turtle Botanical” and I just adore her . I hope you clicked over to check out The Rabbit Hole Designs they have some unique and really fun stamps!

The no line coloring ink that I love is Gina K. Designs Warm Glow Amalgam ink. The color is perfect in my book. When the ink color is really light it’s hard to for me see and causes my eyes stress as I strain to see it. That’s why I use Warm Glow pretty much for everything including watercolor.

Have you tried coloring with marker first before you begin with your pencils?

My messy desk was colorful so I thought I would share. Did I mention that the collapsible marker bags are back in stock? I love mine so much and use them all the time. Pear Blossom Press is now selling the clipboards with my top ten coloring tips. Using any clipboard can save neck strain and pain.

Do you use a photo reference when you color? The colors that I pluck are based more on what I feel like coloring. The coolest thing about this stamp is the illustration is by a young lady and its my friends niece! This might be her first stamp ever! Nothing like nailing it right out of the gate. Often it takes time to develop a style.

That’s it for today. See you tomorrow. Hugs, Kathy

    Awesome turtle Kathy.
I’m lucky enough to have had another crafting day but it turned into one where everything I touched for about a couple of hours went wrong. I took a break to do household chores & returned to my card design after, things went better & I almost completed the printing & die cutting, tomorrow more hopefully x Stay safe and thank you for sharing all your work x
