Water coloring is my favorite. I can mix colors in finer gradations than in any other medium. The problem is they often look too dull when not under glass. I have learned so much from you on using colored pencils with watercolor to make them pop. Thanks.

I love all mediums, including watercolours, but I tend to procrastinate too much. I did dig up the few sparkling H2O’s that I own and did some colouring onto black cardstock last week. I posted the card on my blog, but did not link it to the colouring challenge, thinking I would post in on IG as well. Has not happened yet …

Watercolor painting is my obsession , Copics are also fun but I recommend people start out with the less expensive alcohol markers available today . Colored pencils are as relaxing as watercolor painting so if you’re looking for a relaxing medium I’d go with those two . Love your examples Kathy … and for reminding me I have a Pomegranate in my refrigerator as I write !

Hi Kathy! I’m on Day 15 and haven’t missed a day! I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for this challenge. My brother passed away unexpectedly last month and this challenge has helped me cope. I realize now it’s true value, how taking the time to color can help alleviate some pain. Thank you so so much from the bottom of my heart! Wishing you all the best! ❤️

Hi Kathy, I follow you because of the card with rainbow reindeer on white stock. That card sticks in my mind and brings me joy every time I remember it. I do love to watercolor. Lately I’ve been using Gelatos and Art Crayons for my colors, but I don’t have many metallics in either set. It would be swell to have the Altenew paints. I’d like to use dark card stock with the paints to see what I can create.

I meant to say more but I hit post! Darn it all! I really like that stamp you used & how you colored it. You did an amazing job with your watercolors. I learned a lot about watercolors in my high school art class & fell in love with them. However, they aren’t portable & can be messy so I only use them at home. I have to use mine more. Dear Kathy
I never liked coloring let alone water coloring as i sucked at it but after i took to crafting i knew i had to learn it but i didnt know how as i cudnt buy classes on coloring at present as i have aheavy toll on my purse. So i looked and learnt through videos and just prayed to God to open a way as i was desperate.
And God sent me you with the 30 day Coloring Challenge.Isnt God amazing. You all might think i am crazy but he is all i have to share my happiness, worries and to humbly ask for what i want. I am So GREATFUL to GOD and you KATHY as i am learning so much from you. I save all your coloring under a separate folder to come back and review.
Now with your guidance i look at coloring in a new perspective and i simply love to water color. on the initial days though i used a watercoloer pencil set to color i never used water but recently i prayed to God and used and i was humbly happy with the outcome. Your advice is priceless and Jaycee Gasper too shared the same advice on his blog. I still cant come near you but i have made a start and and practice makes perfect.
I dont know how to thank you but i am greatful to you from the bottom of my heart for being a guiding light in my coloring journey by taking so much effort to organise the 30 Day coloring Challenge despite your busy schedule. I will benefit the most. I am triple sure about it.
Though i color daily i dont upload as i have a very limited time so i upload about three days of coloring together. I hope you are ok about it. I work as a freelance journlaist and translator and most of my time is taken on that as i have to earn. I would one day love to craft 24*7 God willing.
May you and your family be blessed always with good health and happiness
