Blog Hop & Giveaway w/ Pretty Pink Posh

Hello Friends!! How are you today? Are you getting slammed with snow and thinking when is spring coming? Hopefully that’s not the case for you. I have three spring cards for the Pretty Pink Posh Blog Hop and my hope is … that they bring you a little bit of sunshine.

I am super delighted to be part of the Pretty Pink Posh Product Release Blog Hop with lots of inspiration and giveaways.  The stamps are super adorable and I had so much fun creating my cards. The blog hop line up is at the bottom of my post.

Since my Texas Road Trip I have been using a new paper and I am enjoying it. It’s not as white as I like but, it works great with distress ink. I used a variety of distress ink on my cards to watercolor with. The ink that works great with watercolor and dries fast is this. (thanks Lydia!)

(My local art store carries the paper for the same price as Amazon and it’s important to support our favorite local stores. When all else fail support your favorite online stamp store. I am hoping that Simon Says Stamp will carry this ink soon)

For my cards today I combined two stamp sets …. it’s so fun to see how creative you can get with these stamps. Keep it simple or do a little masking for a different look. The stamps sets that I combined for this card are Cherry Blossoms and Best of Luck! Super cute stamps right!

These lil bunnies would be prefect for an Easter card colored in pretty pastels but, I went for a different look . When everything was finished I used my gel pen to add dots to the flowers centers.

I stamped the bunnies in black watercolor friendly ink and the flowers with this ink. I wanted the bunnies to stand out in front of the flowers. For this one I used the same Cherry Blossoms changing the look a little bit adding points to the tips of the flowers and stripes. The Bunny Friends were super adorable and fit beautifully between all the blossoms.

Sigh .. if there were only more hours in the day or if you didn’t have to work, cook or do laundry there would be more time to play lol.

I was determined to use the sentiment set called Encouraging Greetings  especially since the fonts are so beautiful and the words so encouraging.

    I love the St, Patty’s Day card. It’s so colorful and it used my favorite color in the whole wide world, yellow. I don’t send them because no one I know is Irish but I like yours a lot.
    I love those cute little bunnies and again, your card is very colorful. I love the bunnies in the flowers. I love the way you colored them.
    Last but not least, I love those flowers and I love the colors. Your right, if only we didn’t have to do laundry and cook and all those other things, we could color and card make all day long! I would like that. I’m coming to your house so we can do this! LOL
