When posting it’s helpful if you write which day it is. Most of you do but, many don’t.
Also let’s try using another hashtag for the children that are submitting. #thedailymarker30daykids . I really want to support all children so … I know I missed some …. so if you can go back and add that hashtag I can pick them up next week.
Honestly, I literally could scroll and click and pick with my eyes closed!! It’s like being the bachelorette having to choose from all those good looking guys. Each one different but, great in their own way.
ok… this part you don’t have to read lol …. unless you are looking for your art to be in the Sunday feature.
During the week I try to keep up to see what everyone is submitting. When Friday rolls around I try to start linking for Sunday’s feature. Each time I link something Instagram knocks me back to the beginning and I have to start over finding my place where I left off …. unfortunately that slows me way down. There are thousands of submissions so after hours and hours I just have to stop. If I am lucky I only manage to go a few days back. I just wanted you to know that. (When you link to my blog it’s a different process.)
With that said I hope you understand where I am coming from and why you might not see what you are creating. Part of me wants to stop this feature because I take it so seriously and it pains me greatly to miss sooo many of you. (I do try to feature different people but, my memory isn’t that good.) Sooo I hope you all know how much I appreciate you and love what each one of you is doing PLUS what you are doing for yourself!! Carving out time for YOU! I am so proud of you all.

And my eyes almost popped out of my head when I saw my card in with all those amazingly talented folks above. Thank you so very much for the feature and for doing this post as it is so inspirational.

I enjoy your picks too Kathy. Too bad there’s not an easier way. Maybe between now and the next challenge, you can find a better way. I wonder if you can right click to open a new window for the link you want, close and go back to previous window. Then repeat. Or copy your main window and work with the second as mentioned above. You’ve probably tried everything….
I hope you’ll continue this feature. I really enjoy seeing featured ones each week. Just like today’s, each week showcases just some of the beautiful projects out there. I so get what you mean with Instagram! That is the most annoying thing about it! This challenge is really fun and I so appreciate the work you put into it!

It’s so hard to pick projects to feature…PLEASE do not be hard on yourself….we ALL truly understand and also know how time consuming this is !! Love you for doing these wonderful challenges and putting in some much time and hard work….

This is such a fun feature but I feel bad that it is so time-consuming for you. And it must be so hard to choose! Hopefully there will be a way to streamline it. I was definitely not expecting to see my card here and I am so blessed and honoured that you liked it! I was trying something new and I definitely had fun with my colouring! I’m still colouring each day thanks to you – I love the daily inspiration! Sometimes I colour for a few minutes and sometimes much longer. I am in awe at all of the talent I see here on this wall of colouring! Love! Thanks so much! Now off I go because I haven’t coloured yet today!

These are all so beautiful Kathy, but if I were you, I would skip this feature all together! You don’t need to pour over this for hours to make selections! We are all free to go over the list as we can (and we do) to see all of the beautiful work. This is supposed to be fun and relaxing and I feel that you are the only one NOT getting to enjoy the color challenges and that saddens me! Please lighten up on yourself and enjoy it as much as we do. We love and appreciate your doing this at all and I am pretty sure I can speak for everyone when I say that “We want you to enjoy it…with us!” {{{HUGS}}}

Don’t worry about what you don’t get posted. Like you said, there are thousands. I never expect mine to be featured. If I happened to get picked, that would be awesome, but it’s ok if I’m never picked.
I just like that you post some cause I forget to go look and this way I get to see some extra pretties.

I’m feeling most wonderful and honoured to see my card featured here, especially since this was so unexpected! Even though I’ve been slow in posting, I have coloured every. single. day since the Challenge started, and I intend to do so, as much as possible, afterwards. The ‘feel good – no wait…make that …’feel awesome for having coloured’ factor is inexplicable! I agree with the others that creating this showcases is detracting from your enjoyment. Is the feature wonderful, yes. Do we ‘need’ it, no. Just seeing all the entries, on your blog and instagram, is outstanding…everyone who shares is a ‘featured’ artist! The people who I do think deserve to be featured are the young ones….they’re our next generation and in this time of ‘rampant’ technology, it’s important that we acknowledge their creativity. Highlight the up-and-coming crafters, designers and artists…that’s what I think is important! And thank you for taking steps to do so! You truly are awesome!
