IMG_2941

Hello Friends, How are you? Did you have a good weekend? Three cheers if you were able to soak up some sunshine. 🙂

Today I was able to practice some watercoloring techniques that I learned using this super perfect stamp from Power Poppy. (Last week I took Online Card Classes Watercoloring Class taught by Dawn and it was so awesome… I learned so much.)

Today I am a guest on The Power Poppy blog…super exciting :). Check out more cards on the Power Poppy Blog and a few more details. As always I am so grateful for your visit. Have a great week! Hugs, Kathy

What a pretty stamp set. Your watercolouring is coming along really well Kathy! It’s a much more difficult medium than it sounds like it should be isn’t it? But so fun to practice! Even when they tell us it’s about the right amount of water, we still have to figure it out for ourselves. I’m practicing right along with you! <3

Kathy, so beautiful! I love Power Poppy stamps. Your scene is so pretty. Can I ask about that paint tray. I didn’t see it listed anywhere and I love the different double trays. Thanks for sharing and inspiring.

Very pretty! I’m still in the process of finishing my online water color class–I love that you can access it whenever you like and have time. They are really good classes, I still have a few lessons to go through.

Oh Kathy! It’s so good to hear your voice!! Your cards are so lovely. I took the water coloring class also but never finished it. I get stuck on the water to paint ratio every time. I do love your pallet idea. I got a smaller one like it in porcelaine. I’m going to fish it out. Thank you so much for all the tips. I’m so glad you are taking the classes also. I think I am learning so many things at once that I don’t see progress. I can’t seem to stop. Lol. I got into journaling and fountain pens and stationery. Lol and I am decorating bottles for my button collection. I’m setting up my cart …… Lol etc etc etc. I’m praying for you every time I think of you, that you will feel better soon.

Looks great Kathy, love the soft look that you created on all the cards. Made me want to book a flight and go….! I mostly do wet on dry for images as it is easier to control the water and colour that way, but wet on wet is really great for large areas/backgrounds as you can create such a variety. Lovely cards 🙂

Lovely card with soft, gentle colors. Very Summery. I really like it. I need to take that class. I’m terrible with watercolors. You did a beautiful job. Thanks so much for the very informative video.
