Hello friends! How are you today? It’s that time of the month 🙂

Hero Arts has done it again and released another fabulous monthly kit. I’m excited to share my projects with you, but first let’s take a look at the kit…

The kit contains…

A luggage tag die (die size 8 1/4″ x 2 5/8″, finished tag 4 1/8″ x 2 5/8″)
Seven accessory dies (heart, camera, sunglasses, sunshine, geotag, suitcase, airplane)
A 4×6 clear stamp set
Two half sheets of Sizzix tan Paper Leather
Three geotag clips
Airmail stripe washi tape
Journal
Three map hearts
Airmail twine
Clear tag holders
I just love the travel theme of this kit. My mom and step-dad are leaving for a big trip soon and I thought it would be fun to create some travel journals and luggage tags for them…

Here’s a video showing how I created the tags and the beginning of the journals.

These shaker tags were so fun to make. I really like how sturdy and durable the plastic tag pockets are that are included in the kit. I used elastic bands to finish off the tags…

I embossed the airplanes and added assorted glitters and sequins.

I used the add-on alphabet stamp set to quickly create these travel journals for them to keep track of their experiences during their trip. (one journal is included in the kit)

and I just wanted to show you that the tag in the kit can be used to make a simple blank card. Love things that are so versatile 🙂

    Whaooooooooooooooow…..this kit comes just in time for the holidays. Here in The Netherlands it is about 27 degrees, very hot and lots of sun. Whit this beautiful things I am dreaming already of the sand….the sea….the sun….all alone on a tropical island somewhere in the Ocean…..Yep…..holiday is coming soon now.     Such fun tags, Kathy and a creative use of the alphabet stamps. I lost one of my Christmas stamps after making a bunch of cards. Several days or weeks later (after Christmas) I happened to find it again, stuck to the other side of my stamp positioner…

    Hi Kathy! Your crafts are so creative and fun. Love that about YOU! Your “T” is stuck to something, the Misti, the bottom of the glitter bottle, stamp pad, etc. This happens to Me ALL the time! So look at everything you had out that it could possibly stick too. The really good stamps travel if they are on your desk. LOL. They usually turn up. I’ve even found them on the bottom of my flip flop and travel over to the stairs. Then I’ll be going up and see it. Anyway, thanks for the great video. 😉

    Okay, I have seen shaker cards but never shaker tags. Leave it to you to show us how it’s done. I love it! These have to be the coolest things I have ever seen! I don’t plan on going on a trip anytime soon but these would be so cool to have on my luggage. I especially love the “burping in the tush” word you used. At first I wasn’t sure if I saw that right or not but when I looked again, I realized my mind wasn’t playing tricks on me! Good one!
