Day 10. HUGE Giveaway!

Hello Friends, It’s me again! How are you on this hump day? (middle of the week day) I think my huge Giveaway from Mama Elephant will cheer you up if you need cheering up. More on that at the bottom of my post.

Mama Elephants has some of the cutest stamps EVAH  and they are great to create CASE cards or sweet little scenes. Mama Elephant just released these new stamps and seriously HOW FLIPPIN CUTE!  The stamp set called, “New Family” has a baby fox and a baby bunny in diapers!! They can’t be any cuter!! Sorry to gush but, I love these stamps.

I had sooo much fun today just just sit and create with this stamp set. I pared it with “Potted Pretties” another favorite. I stamped a background to create some wall paper and colored a rug. For the texture on the rug I did my rag thing with blender solution.

I really wanted to use the window again but, since I did a window card yesterday it was to soon. Sooo… instead I made a art piece for the wall with this and this. My scrap plaid paper from yesterday and vellum again. I used my super fine marker to add some eyelashes on her and eyebrows on the dad and baby bunny.

    Adorable card. I just recently ordered, for the first time, from Mama Elephant (a numbers die set) and they were so quick with the shipping and I absolutely love the dies. They cut so clean….I tested them all day with different weights of cardstock and the cuts were perfect every time. I’m so sold on this brand and I’m pretty picky about my dies.     I love this set so much. I think I ordered it but I can’t remember. I guess I’ll wait awhile and see if it comes. If not, I am definitely getting it. Love your use of vellum, a baby card should be soft.

    I have no idea how you come up with such a diversity of projects every day. The card is so sweet. One of the many things I’ve tried to emulate from your example and instruction is the shadowing and coloring with the blue around the image. It’s unobtrusive but really gives the images depth. I love that plaid paper–use it more please!!

    How adorable is this card? It is way to cute! I love how you colored it too. Any new mommy would be so glad to get this card. I so have to learn how to use my Copics. I can’t get them to do what your’s do, they just do the ordinary things all markers do.
    Sorry my name is up there twice. When I didn’t see my name the first time, because I assumed that because I did it 5 min. ago I would be the last one on the list, I sent it again. Somehow, I am number 1 and 2! Go figure, huh?
    I don’t know if you got my last post or not but I posted another card I colored and I am so proud of it! I love the colors and how they came out. I painted it with LuminArte water colors & they have some of the most beautiful colors ever! If I ever get a lot of money besides some of my fave stamps and accessories, I want one of every color of their paints. I have quite a few now but I want the rest plus their fabric paint. I just drool over all their colors.
    Tomorrow 2 doctors appointments. Coloring either Valentine’s Day cards or my coloring books. Mom is having stitches taken out of her ear and then going to the chiropractor. Wish me luck!

      Forgot to mention that I held a tiny, newborn bunny in my hands when I went to visit friends of my mom & dad’s in OK in the 80’s I think. The bunny was abandoned under a big tree in their yard or the parents died but it was all alone. It was not wearing a diaper but it was as cute as the one you colored is. We held it to keep it warm and then I don’t remember what we did after that but I’m sure it was well cared for. Thanks for the nice memory.
