Hello Friends, How are you today? Ready to get your color on? Oh my I have been waiting for this giveaway. Dawn from WPlus9 is incredibly generous so generous that she gave me 12 of these stamp sets to giveawayl. Wooo Hoooo!!! Ā Today I will be giving away four of the stamps. More on that at the bottom of my post.
It was love at first sight when I saw this stamp set called, “Color My World” and it will be released tomorrow. This window card was created with some reject watercoloring using brusho. Save those “mess ups” they are perfect for cards like this. I die cut a window with this and added vellum on top of the base card so that my tubes of paint would stand out and to tone down the bright color.
I added some wear to my tubes of paint with some distress ink and added some glossy accents on the lid.
Settling with one card wasn’t possible I had to keep on creating. This time I used some Copics to get a watercolor look. The Pretty Pink Posh frame really offset the card.
Glossy accents makes everything better. You may notice I added glossy accents only to the ‘wet’ paint on my palette.

How nice of Wplus9 to provide you with so many stamp sets to share with your fans. Love your cards. At my house, all my “unfits” are always saved. Love your card, Kathy! What a wonderful way to use up “reject watercolouring” – I have a whole stack of them that I just didn’t have the heart to throw out. I also love the way the vellum tones down the colour on the top layer of the card. It really does work to make the paint tubes pop!

Fabulous cards! Funny story – I was just bemoaning to friends on a FB group that I should accept that watercolor isn’t my forte, when I came across this new set on the WP9 blog. It’s gone straight to the top of my wishlist and I’ll probably color it with my Copics, not watercolors š

Kathy thank you so much for doing this! The prizes are fantastic and of course I will link up for this yummy from Dawn but the real prize is the colouring! I am proud of myself as I have participated everyday and have so enjoyed the freedom of just picking out stamps that I love without having to think how will I use it on a card. Then when I feel like doing a card I will draw the inspiration from my coloured images instead of the other way around! I think this is going to be a new habit for me, I love it!

I saw the Colour Your World Set and fell in love with it immediately.
Unfortunately the Canadian Dollar is the ‘pits’ so I can’t order anything
till it comes back up again.
I’ve seen a few girls make cards with this set and the more I see the more

Hi Kathy, I just went to buy this set and its already sold out. Its so neat. I will be ordering as soon as it comes out along with some other beauties they have released.
The vellum does so much not only to tone down the color, but also to make that splash of color coming out of the tube really stand out. Love this card.
