Rolling along

Hello Friends, How’s it going? It’s been hotter than you know what here on the East Coast. I am hoping that things cool down soon. Nothing like some awesome stamps to get your mind off of things. Mama Elephant teamed up with Simon Says Stamp to create an awesome EXCLUSIVE stamp set for STAMPtember. Woo Hoo! I have two cards to share with you today.

IMG_0361

Honestly I had so much fun building little scenes with this stamp set but, don’t get me wrong… it’s a stamp alone stamp set too. Perfect for a clean and simple card. The stamp set is called “Skater Kids” and it’s super easy to roll with it! 🙂

IMG_0362

If you are like me and don’t plan your sentiments this set called, “Small Talk” is perfect for no planning because it fits anywhere.

IMG_0357

The super fine tip marker was used to add some eyelashes, eyebrow and details on the clothing. I created a frame with one of the stamps in the set.

IMG_0363

Lots of masking but, I love the results when you mask off an image. (There is a matching die cut but, I was away for the weekend and didn’t bring my die cutting machine)

IMG_0358

Lots of tiny details on this one. I added enamel accents to the noses and glossy accents to the eyes & skate boards. I used my urber thin detailed marker again..this time to add hairs sticking up on the little guys and a few eyelashes too.

IMG_0359

Do you live on the East Coast? Have you heard that Mama Elephant is celebrating their 3rd Anniversary and it’s FREE!!! How fun is that! Click here to sign up. I offered to come and help them in any way and I am super excited…I might even be doing some coloring demos 🙂 I hope to see you there. Thanks for your visit today it’s always appreciated. Hugs, Kathy

Love this set…love what you’ve done with it more. Incredible little stories you’ve made for these critters. Made me smile and the coloring is out of this world. Hope you cool down soon. The west coast isn’t doing much better in the heat department…hope we cool down soon, too.

Fabulous cards and coloring! And I’m registered to go to the ME anniversary event!!! 🙂 It always seems like all the fun paper crafting events are on the west coast so I love it when ME has something in the area. I went to the one they hosted with Kelly Purkey a couple years ago too. Hopefully I’ll get a chance to say hello and maybe meet you!

Super adorable cards and stamp set, Kathy. Also love the Small talk set. The ME event sounds fun, but I’m afraid NYC is too far from Crete.

Good morning…your cards are adorable…love the little characters and your coloring is always awesome.

My prize from your last giveaway arrived yesterday and I’m so excited. There were 5 stamps in the bundle…WOW…how nice. Thank you again.

My surgery day is tomorrow, so I’m going to try to use my prize stamps today to keep my mind occupied on something not stressful.

Have a wonderful day and thanks for sharing your talent.

Kathy, ADORABLE cards, such talent, your coloring is just beautiful !!! You must have such a steady hand to make those tiny eyelashes and tiny details, I would be shaking so bad I would hate to see how it would come out, lol. I live in N,Y, and would love to attend, what fun, and what an amazing thrill it would be to meet you in person !!!. I see on their site that everyone is sooo excited to meet you in person and so happy that you are the surprise guest. What a great feeling to be so loved and have SO MANY fans!!
