DAY 6. you rock & a Giveaway

challenge_graphic-4-650

Hello Everyone! How are you today? I can’t believe that we already are in day 6. of the challenge. WOW! Well guess what…I have a great GIVEAWAY  to announce today after the card that I made for todays challenge.

IMG_3504

First I want to tell you that “YOU ROCK”!! AND I MEAN THAT. I love that you all really enjoying the 30 day color challenge and have been coloring everyday. I promise that I will catch up and I am working hard to try and get to each and everyone of your cards. I admit it’s been challenging but, I love a good challenge and it’s inspiring to see what you all are up to.

IMG_2943

For this super fun and quick card I glued many pieces of scrap paper together to use as a background with these die cut letters. Here are two other cards using the alphabets from Lawn Fawn. The paint brush stamp is so adorable and you can find it here.

GIVEAWAY!!!

I love die cutting—and I’m always looking for new ways to use my die-cutting machine and dies to make cards. The girls at Online Card Classes felt the same way! Their new class, Stretch Your Dies, is all about discovering new, cool ways to use dies for card making. It’s based on the same concept as their popular Stretch Your Stamps class—each day the class will focus on a different kind of die, so it’ll be easy to find a die or two in your stash to follow along with. The class will have 20+ videos! For more information, visit Online Card Classes.

I’m thrilled to announce that I’m one of the guest artists for Stretch Your Dies! But even better… one of you will get to attend! Just leave a comment on this post by FRIDAY THE 13TH to be eligible. I will announce a winner on Saturday March 14th. Class starts on Monday, March 16, 2015. I can’t wait! And I hope to see you there!

SYD

If you have already signed up for the class you win then you will be refunded for the price of the class. Thanks to OnLine Card Classes for letting me give a class to you.

Thanks for your visit today and your patience. Hugs, Kathy

P.S. If you are having trouble sharing your art on the Inlinkz tool here is a tutorial. If you want to share on Instagram even better (but, only choose one please) Here is a tutorial. I hope you find these helpful :)

Great card, Kathy. I love how you offer a mix of inspiration ranging from quick colouring to more elaborate colouring. This is really helping me to get (and stay) crafty.
I had decided I wouldn’t take this OCC class since I still have so many ideas from older classes (such as the Copics and Water colour classes) I still need to explore, but that doesn’t mean I will say no if I should win a free spot in this class. They are always so inspiring!

I’m just doing a quick scan through the early posts of the challenge. When I have more time, I’m going to come back and watch the videos. I am always looking to improve my coloring skills and just bought some Spectrum Noir marker sets. Maybe this will be the nudge to pull them out and try them! Thanks for the chance to win a seat in the class. I love dies and would love to see other ideas on using them.

To say I’m obsessed with die-cutting is the honest truth. Rarely do I make a card that I don’t either incorporate dry embossing or a die-cut in my design. Your 30-day color challenge sounds awesome. Hope I find time to play a few days. Would be beyond thrilled to win a spot in this awesome OCC about Stretching Dies. Thanks, Kathy, and congrats on being a guest artist in the class (love your work)!
