yes … OMG!

IMG_2950 2

Hello Friends, How are you today? I am popping in with a quick share. OMG is a phrase I say when I am really blown away by something….even tho it sounds really juvenile for an adult woman to be saying OMG …. I still say it. The alphabet die cuts are from Lawn Fawn and they are such a fun way to customize a card for someone special.

First have some fun by stamping a background with this super flower set from Hero Arts. Color the flowers (no shading today) and outline with a light blue Copic marker. Add some white dots and you are ready to die cut the “OMG”. Use some foam tape for more dimension and you are finished! Easy and relaxing 🙂

How about a card with a graphic spin using the same letters? Back each row with complimentary colors and pop the top panel again for that dimension. The cardstock colors are mint, sea glass & grey.  I think it would be fun to use the letters for a set of notecards or stationary.

Thanks for your visit today it’s always ….always appreciated. Have a good weekend. Hugs, Kathy

I probably use “cool” WAY more than a woman in her 40’s should but it just works on so many occasions. 🙂 Cute cards- gotta say I love the punch of the 2nd one the most.

OMG I love the gorgeous background! Your coloring is great and love that you diecut out of the background, I need to remember to do this more often. Thanks for sharing your lovely card, brightens my day as we are having a stormy weekend here in AZ–windy, rain expected and will make more of my poor oranges, lemons, and grapefruit drop from the trees!

OMG! (LOL) I think it all sounds a bit juvenile but guess what: As a 55 (soon to be 56) Nanny of 2 young grandsons, WHO CARES! We have earned the right to be up on “Our game”! We should be proud to be “THAT” generation that is on top of the new lingo! Not that we set out to be the cool GRANDPARENTS but technology (IF we are up on it) has forced us to be. Embrace it!
As for your cards, they are awesome. Actually, I love them both. TFS! (BTW, I can’t wait to hear about your adventures.)
