Sew Fun & Winner

IMG_2546

Hello Friends, How are you? Any weather extremes in your part to the world? We are experiencing doom and gloom here in MD….no snow just rain. It’s a good day to get out your embroidery floss or thread and add some stitching on a card. This card today is inspired by OCC’s Clean & Simple 4. More details if you scroll down to my other post 🙂

The background was watercolored previously and the die cut is called, “Screen Elements”  love this trio from SSS. The sentiment is an oldie but, a goodie.

and now…. the winner of Simon’s Feb. Card Kit (as seen in this post) is Ruth H. A big congrats to you Ruth 🙂 Thanks to you all for your comments and I have more Giveaways to come so don’t be discouraged. Thanks to Simon Says Stamp for letting me give a kit away!! See you soon! Hugs, Kathy

Once again, masterful…love you colors and design. Is this a notecard reversed so the color is on the inside? Just asking…

LOVE this card, Kathy! Great colors, lovely background, and the stitching is perfect! I love the dimension/texture stitching adds. It’s snowing to beat the band here in Maine (expecting another 12″ on top of the 24″ we got last week) and I’m enjoying a day in, looking at blogs and fooling around with a few cards.

Neat card. I like the die where you don’t have to individually punch each hole for the thread to go through.

I love the texture on this – the watercolored background is gorgeous alone, but then you added the embossed texture to it and it just pops! You are very clever to show how to outline over the light inks too. Wonderful card!
