Simon + Lawn Fawn = Awesome

Have you been checking out all of the special collaborations on the Simon Says Stamp blog during this special time of STAMPtember®? Honestly I love the celebratory vibe of STAMPtember® and all of the excitement that it brings. Today is one of those days!!!

I am sharing a sneak peek of my “Critters of the Arctic” MOOSE card created with  Lawn Fawn  & some Simon products including that “Barn” turned sideways. Click here to see the full card at Simon Says Stamp.

BUT WAIT… YOU MUST STOP back because I have TWO cards featuring a EXCLUSIVE stamp set sold only for the month of STAMPtember® called. “Feather Friends”

Yes, Lawn Fawn + Simon Says Stamp = Awesome!

Immediately I fell in love with Feathered Friends ….the collaborative stamp set created by Lawn Fawn & Simon.  I took the feather and created a peacock or a turkey…you choose lol. Below is a brief pictorial of the stamped background. (I colored the bird on the fly… on an airplane..sorry no photos on that)

1. Stamp feathers with Mint Ink. 2. Color with Copics YG01 & G00 3. Soften the colored lines with “0” (colorless blender) 4. Stamp sentiment in Black Ink. 5. Add wink of stella 6. Mount with foam tape.

Just a little close up of all the sparkle 🙂

Yes…I couldn’t stop creating with “Feathered Friends” ….. again I used the “Barn” die cut for a bird house.

If this stamp set is calling your name you only have until the end of September to purchase it… so that’s 13 or less days depending on when you see this post. 🙂

These came together really easy with some die cutting.

my_collage_by_Fuzel 3

1. Die cut the “Thanks” die. 2. Die cut the “Barn” & tape the frame of the house on the back. 3. Stamp sentiment in blue ink. 4. Trim house/barn to fit on card & punch a hole. 5. Stamp music notes in Lavender Ink. 6. Glue some craft cardstock to go behind the opening of the house. Assemble your card and use foam tape to mount.

Here’s the link to Simon Says Stamp and to Lawn Fawn so you can check out their inspiration.

Your cards are always so creative, Kathy! Love your style. Your little “turkey” is adorable. So smart to use the leaf as a feather! And it is amazing how many ways you have found to use the barn die since it was introduced. Love how you stretch your supplies!
