finally some time to get inky

and play with some of my new Penny Black stamps.I created this card for the Embellish challenge here.

I fell in love with this flourish because it happens to look like something that I doodle when taking on the phone. I used Tim Holtz’s Sizzix die called “styles labels” to cut the center and stamped the flourish in Momento black ink. Any marker will work great for this but, I used my “go to” Copic markers. The letter background is from Penny Black and I stamped it on all three papers. Love the size, font and graceful look of this stamp. The bird is from a Christmas set that I think is great for everyday. How about leaving a comment and I will pick a random winner next week for a little something. Have a great Sunday. Hugs,Kathy

I’m loving this great flourish stamp and all the amazing detail you’ve given it. I recently had the fun of perusing the Penny Black site to order stamps for Stamp Fever, we are adding more stamp lines and Penny Black was one that our customers requested. Thanks for this wonderful inspiration.
    bless you!

I love this card! The script background is really nice and I wonder how you managed such a nice shading on the edges of your papers, especially the label: the transition between very dark at the outside and nearly white at the center is very smooth…

I love your cards. You do such a beautiful job with the Copic markers. What pen do you use for the white slashes? The white just makes such a nice accent. Your art work really inspires me. Thanks for sharing your creativity with the rest of us.
