Cosmo Cricket “Togetherness” and “Mitten Weather” cards and more..

Hello Friends,
I am so happy to share this lovely…lovely paper with you. I have to be completely honest it’s so easy to whip up a card if you have pretty paper and a sticker that melts into your paper. So that means the sticker must be an SRM sticker. Scroll down for my “Cards for Kids” card and you can see what I mean. If you want to have some fun and spend a little more time on a card…well then, check these out.

Here you have two completely different cards . The top one was created with a Penny Black’s new stamp called Gift of Giving. (#4098K) check it out here. The second card “image” was really cheating. I cut the flower and vine from the paper. Added some white dots and gems and some layers and walla. Finished 🙂 I am so loving the new releases from SRM Stickers . For these cards I used #51001 available here and #51009 available here.
Since the theme this month seems to be “back to school” I wanted to design a note book cover with some pizazz. I used the Cosmo Cricket paper from “Togetherness” and cut everything from small octagons from Nestabilities. I used my machine to sew the center ones and cut open octagons to finish off the page. The photos don’t give this must justice so you will just have to use your imagination.

This is the front cover. The birds are cut from the CC paper and outlined in black thin sharpie. The stickers for this project are from the new release too available here. (#53003)

.

and the side view …not it’s not backwards…or I am. I wanted to see it from my perspecive so this worked best. Don’t you love the large yummy strawberry? Take a bite out of this

Be sure to check out all the amazing projects at the SRM’s BLOG. Thanks for stopping I really appreciate all of your sweet comments. This is a big week for me because we will be taking our son to college. I’ll be posting a photo of our good buy dinner next week. Hug your little ones tighter because they really do grow up really fast. Have a great week!
Hugs,Kathy

Kathy, you just amaze me at how many wonderful cards you can create in such a short time. I am lucky if I can make a single card each day ;D All of these are wonderful! I just got my hands on the new PB catalogue the other day and can tell that I will need quite a few of their new Christmas stamps. I am especially in love with that new line of those sweet little girls. How fun!

Hello sweet Kathy~ you have been one busy lady as always. I have been catching up on your creations and I am awestruck by your ability to make such wonderful cards & projects. The sticker storage solution was indeed genius. I had seen some product advertised years ago with the sort of the same type of set up but it was expensive. It may still be out there for all I know but you took yours to a whole other level. I know you are on the move but I just wanted to compliment you on your lovely works. I love stopping by your beautiful blog. You take care & keep the inspirational creations coming. Take care.
    Hugs,
    Sonia
