the winner is …. and a butterfly trio card

Congradulations Heidi number 64!!

I am so excited for you and will be contacting you soon.

It’s been awhile since I have made a butterfly card so I was anxious to ink these up the minute I received them.
Butterfly Trio

Butterfly Trio This stamp is a boarder stamp that I wanted to use as individual butterflies. So I inked them up with Victorian Velvet, colored over them with some Copic markers and traced the images with a fine tip black marker. The white dots really made these come alive and the glossy accents on the body and the antenna. The bright blue squares are little inchies from here.  These little guys were fun to work with. I colored them with twinkling H2O’s, stamped the script on them in walnut and distressed the edges. The paper is from Basic Grey. The lace was colored with the same color as my image.
Stop by on Saturday for world card making day and All week Penny Black is featuring their artists so I hope you can stop by.   Hugs, Kathy

    Hi Kathy,

The purple-lavendar butterflies against all of those textured subtle natural greens–just fabulous! I also love, love, love the poinsettia flower that is the centerpiece of the 4 cards you finished last evening/morning very, very late. The sharp edges, the professional detail is so consistent and so amazing. Rachel T.
