How about a challenge??

Hello Friends, I am so excited for today. This is a card I made for a card challenge between Vicky Papaioannou , Deborah Nolan and I.

If you are curious about the background what I did was color the background with B12 & YG03. I wet a rag with “Colorless Blender” and pressed onto the background & when you lift up the rag….magic happens. I added some highlights with a brown colored pencil and just had to add some white dots.

The three of us are challenging each other for a color “throw down”of sorts! One day Vicky emailed me to see what Copic colors I would recommend. Vicky felt she needed more colors before she could use her Copics. So a challenge was born… to use only the colors that Vicky had. We are hoping that you would like to play along with us.
YOU do NOT have to use Copics the only requirement is to use  THESE FOUR COLORS.
You may notice that our cards we have added some accents of brown, white and black & that’s ok.

Now I present you with Vicky‘s card. Have you seen her videos …. I just love them! I am lucky to call her a friend.

and now for  Deborah’s  card. Have you read her blog before….she is an amazing writer.

Hummmm…what if these two….ummmm……let’s just say there’s a big secret *wink*
I have so much respect for both of these ladies and they both are so talented.

Just link your card here on my blog and next Sunday I will draw TWO random winners. Both winners  will win one of  Penny Black’s newly released stamps!

Don’t forget to hop over to the Penny Black blog and see what the new challenge is for this week. Tomorrow I will announce the winners and show you the stamps I will be giving away again. Here are the details. I’m just reminding you to buzz on over and leave some love so I can enter you in the random draw for each day THIS WEEK. If you have any questions please let me know. Have a great day! Hugs, Kathy

Intriguing combination – have an idea…… shall give it a whirl. Love the use of Candid & your colouring of it – that background is so versatile both have gone on my wish list. The mix of colours is an interesting one & I love that all 3 of you have demonstrated such a variety of styles using the very same brief.
Much love & thanks for a wonderful bit of eye candy.
