mimi cooks and she drives

Hello Friends, Today I have a quick share for you. These are two cards that were in the spring Penny Black catalog.

IMG_2683

I adore this stamp. Don’t you love a blank canvas like this chef’s hat. I used my favorite paisley background stamp on it to give it a fun spin.

B.D. dreams
I used a combo of Copic markers and Tombow. I like the warn look on the VW. For the sentiment bubble I traced a sticky note to get the fun shape. I added Glossy Accents to the head lights and the hub caps.

Many of you are asking me where you can purchase these stamps. If you click on the thumbnails they will take you directly to a store with wonderful customer service.
Have a great week! Hugs, Kathy

I love the shading on those egss & the Paisley background is super for the hat, I must admit I rather like Mimi & her cersatility. The car reminds me of the VW Beetles & the Flower Power of the 60s. I particularly liek the faux stitching on that sentiment bubble – so effective not doing it all the way round.
