Wee Memories Scrappy Saturday Challenge

Hello Friends, If you are visiting for the first time…welcome to my blog. Today I am honored to be a guest designer at the Wee Memories Challenge Blog. Jenny is so talented and so creative that I jumped at the opportunity. Lawnscaping Challenge Blog is teaming up with Wee Memories this week and BOTH challenge blogs are being sponsored by Lawn Fawn. (can I say…Kelly is just adorable!!)

This is one of the two cards I created.
Say Cheese

I don’t have any of Lawn Fawn’s critters so I used some of my favorite sets to make some “cute” scenes. For the first card I created the fish bowls with these Lunar Light stamps and the cuddly fish are from this set. The shell “wallpaper” was make with Worn Lipstick distress ink and the shell stamp from the same set. The awesome Polaroid stamp is from this set. (I always loved taking Polaroid photos)
Just wavin' hello
The idea behind this card…is….I wanted the dolphin to be jumping out of his “pool” to grab one of the fish from the decorations. I cut a circle from my Spellbinders and drew some triangles on it for the pool. The clouds were airbrushed with Copic markers with this punch. For the smaller cloud you can trim the larger one down to a small size. Love these yummy papers from Penny Black.

Just wavin' hello

Keep in mind you have until Sunday night to submit your sparkly card for Penny Black’s weekly challenge. You can find the details here.  I hope you have lots of sunshine in your weekend and a big thanks to Jenny for letting me play along with Wee Memories Challenge Blog today. Hugs,Kathy

P.S. I thought it would be fun to share two other cards I made with this same set last year?

All of the cards are so adorable, but the whale one really tugged at my heart! I am a big “whale hugger” (kinda like a tree hugger) and am always reading or watching documentaries on whales! Yours are so sweet!

The creativeness behind these just had me sitting looking with delight. I love the use of the lunar lights for the fish bowls & the seashell wallpaper just sets the atmosphere. My favourite is the the dolphin & that incredible pool – love all the detail on the decorations & the pool is just something ese. Thanks for showing the older cards too – astonishing detail in them both – that sea with the Whales is so so effective.
Have a lovely remainder of the weekend.
