Penny Black Slapstick Stamps

Hello Friends, How are you?
This week at the PB’s  Blog,  Penny Black’s “Slapstick” stamps are a being featured all this week. Every week there is a new challenge, a new video from the talented Jill and the opportunity to win some stamps and paper.

Smiles
I just love these sweet image  called  “Good Friends” . I colored the image with Copic markers and layered some blue distress ink for the sky. Colors are listed below.

I cut & colored an extra umbrella to give me some dimension. I used these clear “Scrap Dots” under the umbrella. Works like a charm. I forgot to link the sentiment in the supply area at the bottom so here it is. I use this sentiment all the time.

I added lots of white highlights and Glossy Accents in the center of the flowers. Love the new mini Glossy Accents. I added a gem to the birds eye or I use Black Enamel.
A few questions about my last card here. Yes you are correct, I did stamp the flower on white paper and colored everything with Copic markers. Sorry I didn’t give all the details.
Before I go … just in case you missed it…if you leave a comment here three winners will be selected for Jennifer McGuire & Kristina Werner & Friends Summer Card Camp 2011.  Have a happy day! Hugs, Kathy

Very, very beautiful! When you use the pop dots, do you also use it on the outer edge of the umbrella to keep it down? It appears that it is touching on the dome part … just wondering, it is so pretty.

I so love the details in this stamped image. The hetching must be really deep hey! I love it when you get a great rubber stamp that gives such great detail. Wish we could get these PB stamps in my area. I wonder who carries them here in Canada. I think I asked you this in my email but not sure if you got it? I know your such a busy person and that’s okay. But would love to get some here in my neck of the woods. This card is such an amazing piece of art work. THe colours are so bold and bright, but that little girl is adorable. Thanks for sharing such wonderful artwork. Hugs.
