TWO Catalog Cards for Penny Black 2012

Hello Friends, This week I will share the cards that I was fortunate enough to create with Penny Black’s beautiful new stamps. They are available in the stores so check your local shops or your favorite stores.

Take Time
I love the artistic, hand drawn look to these beautiful yet whimsical stamps.

Take Time
I used Copic markers to color my images. I would like to point out a few things on the background in the frame and outside the frame. Around the image I used a soft pink to add some highlights then I went nuts with some white dots with a gel pen for added interest.
This background was used on both cards and stamped with different inks and colored, and Glossy Accents added to the center.
Hello
I always say it’s the girlfriends in life that helps me through the rough patches. Don’t get me wrong I love my husband but, girls have a different spin on things. This stamp is perfect for those special gal friends in your life.
Hello
I love to add more flounce to the skirts. So fun!
I forgot to mention in this Lily Pad post for the color challenge that…. Purple Onion is giving away a $25.00 gift certificate to a lucky participant in the color challenge.
Thanks for your visit and see you soon. Hugs, Kathy

The first is my favourite here & I particularly like your details of shading & Glossy Accents on the background aqua cardstock & how you repeat stamped that on the lilac frame to pick up the same blue. The pink rose tint gives real dimension too & I love how your frame extends beyond the card base.
The colourful clothing of the girls on the second is great fun & so in keeping with the images & I just love what you did with her skirt.
