Hello Friends, How are you doing? Are you needing a coloring challenge? I sure am … before I painted this beautiful new stamp set from Gina K. Designs it might have been my longest stretch without any coloring! Later this week I will be sharing what has been keeping me busy and such if you are interested.

How gorgeous is this “Festive Flowers” stamp set from Gina K. Designs … swoon! Ahhh it felt utterly fabulous to get out my paints and watercolor into the wee hours of the night. Gina K. Yup you guessed it … I used Warm Glow AND added a little bit Skeleton Leaves ink. I used the corner of the ink pad to highlight some the flowers centers and some of the detail on the petals. Super easy and don’t worry where that ink goes.
The petals closest to the flowers center I used a random red or purple Karin watercolor marker. The other petals on the flower I used a darker of color.
Can I just say how awesome it was to just zip my markers and throw them in my bag. The joy I felt was real and we all have to find those small moments of joy in the little things. I hope you are finding some joy throughout your day.
Usually I always add some black in the nooks & crannies but, today I decided just to let it be.
I debated on adding a sentient and ultimately decided to add one.
The second ink, Skeleton Leaves I used really stands out and gives my painting some variation and interest.

OH DUH….I just looked at the stamp set and Gina K. did the masking for us!!! YAY!!! It’s BEAUTIFUL!!!
