STAMPtember® Blog Party blog

Hellllooo Friends!!! How are you? It’s that time of year ….. it’s STAMPtember®! Woo hoooo!! I am so lucky and grateful to be part of Simon Says Stamp’s STAMPtember® Blog Party!! It’s not a blog hop ….. just a big ole’ party with lots of bloggers and Instagrammers. Simon Says Stamp will have all the links of these talented people on the Simon blog.

This month keep an eye out for beautiful banners from Simon Says Stamp with different and exclusive STAMPtember® promotions! It’s like a month long scavenger hunt! Such fun!!

Check out today’s banner and free gift with purchase at the bottom of my post.

The STAMPtember® products are pretty spectacular and I love the variety in the release… something for all kinds of crafters. I can’t wait to see what all of the collaboration stamp sets will look like.  You can check out the entire release here even though I am pretty sure you might have seen it all by now.

Today I am sharing two of the new background stamps Hexagon Tile  and Lantern Pattern. The “Love You“die cut is from my Simon stash.

Painting this particular background I took my time watercoloring each little section in the tile. My second card I colored large sections of the lanterns  instead of all the smaller parts for a quicker card.

What’s not to love about this “Chunky Love You” die cut. It’s a great size and dramatic but, clean lines.

Using these stamps it’s fun to see different patterns emerge as you color the different  sections creating a new visual stamp. My ink of choice for no line coloring or watercoloring is the Gina K. Designs Amalgam ink called Warm Glow.

The new distress color “Crackling Campfire” is so bold and vibrant I love it. When I go antiquing I always keep my eye out for these small glass salt containers. They are perfect for liquid watercolors. Some of these were only $2.00.

Thank you for your visit and I will be back soon. Stay safe and healthy. Many hugs, Kathy
