Day 17. Macramade with Love

Hello Friends! Welcome to Day 17. The week is winding down as the heat kicks up here on the East Coast. Thinking of you all and praying that Covid stays away from you.

To share your coloring ON MY BLOG  click here to link up.

There are 2 other ways to share what you are coloring. If you want to join a community of coloring enthusiasts I recommend Instagram  or FaceBook. FaceBook and Instagram are both places to connect with the coloring community and great places to share what you are coloring. Please Tag me,Kathy and use the hashtag #thedailymarker30day. Children   #thedailymarker30daykids.

The new “Macramade With Love” stamp set from Gina K. Designs was one of those love at first sight stamps. I knew a few strokes of a pencil and a little time I would be in that coloring meditative state.

Gina’s Skeleton Leaves amalgam ink is darker than my usual Warm Glow . I stamped the “Macramade With Love” with the Skeleton Leaves ink.

Trying out a new a Toned Grey paper that’s 184lb. and I am really loving it.

Often I mix up my coloring with different types of pencils but, not today. I like how I can get a harder line with the Pablo pencils. With that said most pencils work great if that tip is super sharp. I am constantly sharpencing my tips especially when coloring with lines.

In the end I decided to forgo a sentiment for now or use one of Simon Says Stamps sentiment strips when a particular need arises.

Sorry I haven’t had time to do any videos and hopefully this helps a tiny bit. Don’t forget SHARP pencils is the ONLY way to go.

Have a great day and I will see you tomorrow yet again. Always a big thanks for the visit. Hugs, Kathy

Wow I haven’t seen cardstock that heavy! The grey is beautiful. Is the white pencil, or pen? Also I notice you made the white highlights on the opposite sid of your black shadow. Thank you for explaining what you do!
