Day 23. Mandala with the Mega Wreath Builder

Hello Friends! I hope you all are having a wonderful weekend. It’s been a super busy several days with lots of family, friends and kitchen time, With that said I am going to share a project that I colored and saved for “when I don’t have a second to spare” in other words a coloring emergency lol. The 30 day challenge is authentic and I am coloring every day just like you are. If I don’t color one day I let you know. (for me it takes more than 10 minutes … the blog posts take me more time than I would like to admit lol.

For Day 23. I am using the Gina K. Designs large wreath builder. The minute I got this large misti it was a game changer for me. As most of you know I love making large works that I can frame or gift to someone special and the super large misit made it possible.

You can purchase the bundle and get the large wreath builder pretty much for free. Unfortunately I purchased mine individually and  didn’t get that special pricing.

This is Gina K. showing me how to use the wreath builder. Next to the super large misti is the Waffle Flower media mat.

I have used this butterfly stamp  several times and for this time I wanted to create a mandala. Once my largest circle was complete I was ready to stamp the inside.

Does this make you as happy as it makes me.

I found a small lady bug stamp and ack I don’t remember what company that is from. Any small stamp will work in the middle. The background was watercolored and set to dry.

Coloring the butterflies was easy and fun. Since these were Gina K. Designs stamps I gifted this mandala to her.

Did you happen to catch my post with the Grey Muse Giveaway? See you tomorrow for more coloring. Always gratitude for your visit. Hugs, Kathy

WOW Kathy, this is amazing! Gina will cherish this I am sure!
DO NOT apologize for being pressed for time, I am sure you are not alone at this time of year…this is the first colour challenge that I have not had time to color every single day! With birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, weddings, a 91 y/o Mother and a 97 y/o MIL and 2 young grandsons, (never mind housework), I am maxed out! Hoping that (starting tomorrow) I can focus on a special day planned for the 13th with my life-long friend & her family and after that, I am planning to colour the summer away! I hope you do as well but in a more relaxed way!

    • Kathy Racoosin says

      July 9, 2019 at 8:50 am

Thank you so much, Teresa! Wow, you have been immensely busy. Would be so far passed maxed out if I were in your shoes. You must have super powers, my friend . Wishing you lots of joy planning the event this week for your dear friend 🙂

    WOW
LOVE your butterflies and ladybugs … your mandala reminds me of a kaleidoscope 🙂
LOVE my MISTI and feeling pretty tempted to get this bundle, a great way to have even more inky adventures with my stamps!

  15. Gail Plaskiewicz says

Oh my gosh, this is a-may-zing! I love the butterflies & I love how you made them into a wreath. I have some butterfly stamps so I could so totally do this! Do you mind if I try what you did? I won’t copy it exactly because my butterfly stamp is probably not the same as yours & I don’t think I have a lady bug stamp but I think I have a lady bug punch so I could do that! I think I have a coloring page from Dover that looks like this. I’ve made more cards & I’ve been coloring of course. I will post them!

Such a gorgeous wreath and sooooooo big! I keep forgetting that we can pretty much use any stamps to create wreaths and Gina’s wreath builder makes it so easy. I have the little one but I keep forgetting to bring it out. The butterflies are just gorgeous and I just love those blues and purples you have used around them.

This is so pretty, Kathy! I don’t know how you keep up with all the writing, the commenting, and still have time to colour. What a rockstar you are!
