Day 5. Sometimes You Have to Play

Hello Friends, Anything new today? Are you managing to find some YOU time? Today’s post is about playing around and experimenting.

Stamping Bella has some really cool and whimsical flowers are are really different and I love this one with the fairy. You can see them here. The petals are open on this daisy leaving room to doodle and play. I love the vibrant colors of the Altenew Brush markers so I thought I would use them for today’s post.

This is how the flower looked before I started playing around. I will post a quick video of the doodle process later today on my IG feed.

On this Lily I divided the petals so they wouldn’t bleed into each other and it’s kinda  a cool look. What do you think?

Thank YOU again for playing along and so many of you are managing to carve out that 10 minutes a day and I am so proud of you.

This is so valuable to me , I tend to buy the best and keep them but restrict there use to only serious works . Bad thinking me !

Tracy, we have all been guilty of that! Believe me, I have spent so much money on pretty papers…too pretty to cut..only to have decades go by and those pretty papers no longer bring me the joy I had when I liked them so much originally. Use them 🙂

Great playing around with your colours Kathy, I just watched the Istagram video, the flower is awesome.
The Lily is also great, I think the colours look more vibrant because of your white lines, stunning.
Thank you for sharing, see you tomorrow and happy colouring.

I love Stamping Bella but I don’t have this one. This is the one I bought & tell me if you think this is a weird stamp for me to get. My niece was 4 when her brother was born, so when I saw the little girl holding her baby brother, I knew she would love it on her birthday. I also knew my sister, her mom, would love it too. I am also going to send it to her. The thing of it is, who else can I send this too? I usually buy stamps I can use a lot but I loved this one! I love what you did with the flower with the fairy, Those colors look so nice together! I also love how you did the lily & looking at the picture on the package I like yours better. Okay, off to finish the card I am doing! You will love it & I will post it when I am done! I love Stamping Bella stamps!
