Bats About You a Simon Exclusive

Hello Friends, How are you? Everyone safe and sound? Hearing the news with the fires and hurricanes I am so unsettled and hope you all are safe. I’m grateful for stamping because it takes my worries away.

If you have been tracking Simon Says Stamps exclusive releases and the collaborations big hugs to you lol. Sooo many awesome stamps that I fall in love with each day.

Once the collaboration sets are sold out that it’s so if you fall in love don’t hesitate but, I am sure you know that by now.

This particular stamp set called, “Sweet Tooth” is a the collaboration with Simon and Waffle Flower. Such fun I had to create some time to ink this baby up. I masked the cape so I could stamp some bats on it. A dramatic and different background was  my goal and this stencil helped achieve that look for something different. For all of today’s watercoloring I used Tim Holtz distress ink.

Sadly this set is sold out but, I still had to share. This is the collaboration with Neat & Tangled with Simon.

Here is an action shot.

Stay safe and have a great day. See you soon for a blog hop. Hugs, Kathy

What a lovely cards you made Kathy. Yes I am following STAMPtember and it amaze me everyday that all the designers make every time such gorgeous cards and most of the time they even don’t look like eachother, while using the same supplies. Great job to you all!

Thank you so much, Henriette! I agree; it is amazing that we can be using the same supplies, yet our cards are so different. I am always inspired by what other crafters create with the same/similar supplies.

I love the bottom card, it is so sweet and love how you created the shadows underneath the figures. The top card I like the colouring you did on the image, but the bottom one is more my kind of images :), lots of hugs, Marion

I am grateful for your kind words, Marion! I love that N&T paired with SSS for the bottom card; creating the shadows is so much fun and adds so much dimension.
