Day 22. Register for Florida

Click here to register. Don’t delay because My Favorite Things will be announcing later today.

Hello Friends, I am in the process of taking a watercoloring class plus assembling 50 wedding slower invitations. Feeling the pressure today haha.

The class is all about loose watercoloring and that is so not my style. As it progresses it’s not so loose.

My homework is to finish so I tried to use a lot more water and loosen it up a bit. Not really liking it but, it counts for coloring. Tomorrow bring on the stamps.

Sorry for the short post today. See you tomorrow. Hugs, Kathy

P.S. There are 3 ways to share what you are coloring. If you want to join a community of coloring enthusiasts I recommend  FaceBook or Instagram. Be sure to tag me and use the hashtag #thedailymarker30day. Kids & young adults use #thedailymarker30daykids. The 3rd way is to link up to my blog to share your coloring.

Well, I think it is looking good, even if it isn’t “loose” as you say. I love the colors in the teapot. Keep up the great work. I hope you aren’t getting too stressed!

You have done well Kathy with your first class. Mine would be loose alright, I would have probably only had the outline of the tea towel after the first day! LOL You did amazing!

It’s not ugly, it looks a like the things you have as refrence but it isn’t your style. What do you always say to us? Come out of your comfort zone. Judge your watercolouring when it is finished, I know for sure that you will make it your own and gorgeous.
Thanks for today and see you tomorrow.

It’s very interesting to see how each person interprets the same scene. I like the colors of your picture! For a first class I see it very well!

Hi Kathy, Your watercolor painting is coming along just great! Knowing you, the final details will really bring it over the top! I was so excited to get the info on your road trip to FL, and then saw the date…I have a wedding in MD that same day!! Hope you swing back here one day!

What is wrong with this? Nothing that I can see. Everyone’s painting will be different because we see with different eyes! And remember, we are always our worst critic, especially when learning. Go for it! 🙂

I like the way it looks. Whenever I watercolor, I never use my watercolor paper. I have some too. I’ve always just used white card stock. I always forget I have watercolor paper. I think you did a lot better then you think. Do you remember those embellishments you used on that ice cream card? They looked like sprinkles? I bought some & just got them. They look so much better in person! They are so cute! I’m not sure where I will use them but I love them! Thanks for showing them to us!
