another giveaway

Hello Friends, Happy Valentines Day to you! Also a big thanks to those of you that had the time to stop and watch Brian’s U-Tube project.
So many of you watched the video and shared such nice thoughts and sweet comments.
THANKS from the bottom of my heart 🙂
( If you are wondering what I am taking about you can read about it here. )
……….. GIVEAWAY……….
I have been giving away so much recently so why stop now?? How about this great stamp set that I used in my projects today.  It’s called “Like Your Style” and it’s a Simon exclusive!
Please leave a comment and I will select a winner Feb. 25th so please stop back or subscribe so you don’t miss anything on my blog. If you don’t already I hope you will join my following.
I loved the small polka dot envelopes in the card kit so I had to use them all. You can purchase them separately here.
You really save on the card kits if you purchase a subscription. Check that out here. The best part is you can opt out at any time…that’s what I call a win WIN!
I tell ya’ I had so much fun creating these and have been dying to share them. Let’s get started.
I stamped the hangers, scanned the stamped image and enlarged them on my copier. This way the hangers are big enough to write a short message on the back and they fit in the envelopes. I colored them with Copics and stamped the sentiments and flowers with some Hero Arts inks. (see supply list for links)
The flowers were stamped four times for each envelope and colored easily and quickly with distress inks. (please refer to supply list for colors)
Have you see the new Rock Candy? It comes with a brush!! Love it!! I generously applied the Rock Candy to each flower. I cut each flower out and curled the edges a little with my fingers.
Take note….the top flower was cut outside the line, the 2nd flower was cut on the line, the 3rd flower was cut on the dotted line. This way the flowers layered nicely.
I added some pop dots (that are nice and thick) between each layer & I didn’t line the edges of the flowers up perfectly… more interesting this way.

(I did rinse the brush that was in the jar after using the distress inks to keep my jar nice and tidy on the inside)
These paint brushes are the perfect thickness to wrap some paper around to curl a nice banner. (Notice I applied some distress ink on the back.) The sentiment is from the stamp set that’s up for grabs. Each end of the strip of paper was curled a different direction. Try curing your banner at an angle it’s lovely. You might have to fiddle a little with your banner until you are satisfied but, it’s worth the effort.
See the flower closure? I ended up stamping another one and clued it on the back of the flower so when the recipient opens the envelope the inside looks finished properly. If you look at the 2nd photo on the left you will see what I mean.
Email me if you have questions 🙂 I hope your day is full of love and joy.
Thanks for your visit! Hugs, Kathy
