Hello Friends! How is your day going? I have some good news! My step dad was moved to an acute care rehab yesterday. It’s going to be a lot of work and a huge adjustment for him but, I think he will put in the work. The bad news is the facility is well over an hour each with without traffic.EEK! I hope to be getting back to more regular posts and back to my routine . I wanted to give you all a big Thank YOU for your prayers!!

The roses are fabulous! Love them against the dark background! I’m so glad your step dad is doing better. Hopefully you have some uplifting music or a good audiobook for your long drive to visit. That always helps me.

I am so happy to hear that your step dad is on the mend – albeit, slowly. Unfortunately, with the driving time, you will know what we deal with all the time here in the Los Angeles area. We are so used to it, however, that we measure distance in time rather than miles/kilometres. Get books on tape or a good classical station and zone out on your trip. (or your favourite radio station.
A lot of us are thinking of you and sending good thoughts.
So glad to hear about your step-dad. I know what you are going though. We went through this with my dad before he passed. What was so good about where he was, though, was it was up the street from us. A drive that took maybe 2 min. or so. It was up a hill of a street so unless the weather was bad as in ice or snow we went every night. Once in the warmer weather I even walked up there. It was good exercise. He went to the nursing home about 3 times in the 3-4 years my dad had the feeding tube in him and when he fractured his collar bone. They did rehab there too for him. An hour both ways though is not good but you will get through it. You will continue to be in my prayers forever!
You know, if you read what I said in your last post, your card was beautiful already. Now it’s just totally amazing and of course, its even more yellow! I love the color yellow as you well know but I find that not enough people use that color enough. Also, I find that yellow ink doesn’t always show up on paper when I stamp with it. I still love it though and yesterday I had on a yellow sweater and yellow cords. I was all sunshiny and everything! There was no sun out but I looked just like it.
Thank you for showing us you’re amazing card and telling us how your step-dad is doing. I like hearing about what’s going on in your world. I hope you don’t mind hearing about mine sometimes.

I love how you finished this card with the purple in the yellow, the red I understood, but purple? It looks great; I would never thought of using a colour like that.
