Day 9. No line coloring

Hello Friends, Thanks for your thoughts and prayers for David & they helped get him through his surgery. The surgery went really good thank you and soon the road to recovery will begin.

Before I left I stamped an old favorite … the Hero Arts dahlia stamp & I admit it’s hard to put it down to finish later.  As I was drafting this post I remembered that I had colored this flower for another coloring challenge. If you want to check it out click here.

As you all know I am always talking about those nooks and crannies and how adding black can enhance your coloring. Sound familiar lol ?

For today’s coloring … on the airplane I decided to start with the black pencil and the benefit is that you can see much easier where I think the nooks and crannies are.

Starting with some layers of color … just one color.

It will be interesting to see how this ends up. I’m going to run to give my hubby some attention and will be back tomorrow. Thanks again you all are such a blessing to me. Hugs, Kathy

If you don’t have Instagram you can still see what everyone is coloring … The majority of you prefer to share on IG so thought you might want to take a peek.

Glad his surgery has gone well.
I’m so impressed the amount of coloring you get done on flights, I tend to only read and don’t feel like I can breathe so squished in those seats. I’m usually the one in the middle. Anyway, gorgeous coloring once again.

Clever lady! Why did none of us think of this before??? Of COURSE it’s easier to do the nooks first!!! Why does it seem to be such a mystery for so long when it’s so obvious! I sure hope my brain can remember this one!!! Thanks so much.

So far I love your coloring! Will I love it when it’s finished…………….. Oh yeah, you bet I will!LOL I love flower stamps because you can make them any color you’d like, including multi colored and who cares if the flower is supposed to be that color or not. You can add glitter or dots or sequins and make it as pretty or as plain as you’d like. I think I have done no line coloring but I never knew it was called that or it was anything special. Cool! I can’t wait to see what you do next with it.
Glad to hear your step-dad is doing okay. I will still pray for him.

Great idea starting with black and I like what you’ve done so far. Sure I will love it when it’s done as I love all of your projects.
Glad you’re home and that your step dad is doing good.
