Day 13. Finishing Touches & Winners & Giveaway

Hello Friends, Can you believe it’s Day 13. already? Oh my! I hope you all had a lovely weekend. My sister and I are visiting my daughter at college … she had to much work to do so she didn’t take time off for her spring break.

Hotel room lighting isn’t the best but, it felt so good to really take my time and color today while we waited to meet my daughter for dinner. This beautiful stamp set is from Jane’s Doodles. It has been fun watching Jane’s company grow and she is as sweet as can be. I stamped an extra flower to pop on my bouquet …. yes another bouquet lol.

Here’s all the colors. This is the fine tip sharpie you see in the video below and I use it every…single…day!! Can not live without mine.

    Oh Kathy, you have taken my breath away, the flowers are so amazing–almost luminescent-just awesome! I thank you–I’ve been coloring away here, have done some color book images and posted a finished one on FB last night using pens, I was surprised how good it looks as I always felt I couldn’t blend well with pens–not markers! You inspire us all to color and relax.

    Love your lilies..wonderful colors. I’m learning so much this week and it is only Monday. You use your Sharpies on your flowers and I was just at beauty shop and the manicurist was using Color Sharpies for design on a ladies nails and they looked great like your flowers…wonder if the Sharpie Company has any idea of the many uses.     Congrats to all the winners and maybe next time I will be one of them. Love you’re coloring, hotel room lighting or not. You always manage to make it work.
    I can’t believe you have kids as old as you do. I would never have guessed you have a 25 year old and one in college. It must have been great to see her at her college. My niece is 22 and my nephew is 18. I remember when they were born and now they are all grown up. My nephew is in his first year of college and my niece dances with The Orlando Ballet.
    Tonight we are waiting for 12-28 inches of snow with 50-70 MPH winds. We are in big trouble with this storm. Who would have guessed we had weather in the 50’s-60’s a week or 2 ago. We’re ready for it. We very rarely loose power so I’m not worried but my middle sister is worried about us. She has a gas stove and gas heat, we don’t. We have plenty of blankets and food so we won’t be cold or starve.
    I’m making a card for a card swap. When I finish I will post.
    I’ve never heard of Jane’s Doodles. I’ll have to check them out.
    Love the coloring and I hope your daughter is doing well in college.

    What a beautiful mix of colours in your lilies Kathy, I love the contrast and I really must remember to colour an extra flower to add for dimension. Beautiful blues and purples, you can’t go wrong with that mix.

    I would have never thought to use those colors. That bouquet is beautiful, but I love florals too. And Jane’s doodles has some awesome stamps, that lily stamp is so pretty especially for spring.

    I know how you feel about the hotel lighting, but the pic looks fine, I just tried to do a video with my daughter for facebook, but I binned it, the lighting was no good.
    I admit I have not done as much of the challenge as I wanted to, due to illness and the children, but I have been doing a doodle challenge from SeaLemon daily, and that involves colouring in the images, so I guess I am keeping up in my own special way 😀 xx
