Day 26. More quick coloring and giveaway

challenge_graphic-nov16_16x24

Hello Friends, Happy weekend to you. Today I have a giveaway from Kraftin Kimmie Stamps. This is another company with images that just make you smile like this duo of angles …. sweet as can be right.

img_2204

I though this was the perfect dress to try adding some luscious folds but, time wasn’t on my side. So to distract the eye I added another one of Tim Holtz’s stencils with some Mommy Lhey ink. A dauber gave me control to add the pattern on the dress without masking anything.

img_2205

I tried adding a circle of vellum by the flame to show the cast of light but, it looked weird by her face. I settled on adding a circle of wink of stella to add a little glow light. ……… ok how about that

…. GIVEAWAY! $25.00 gift card to the  Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps store!! To keep it simple a random winner will be drawn from my YouTube subscribers and announced at the end of the challenge. Thanks for the giveaway Kraftin’ Kimmie. 🙂

I will be back tomorrow for my “It’s All About You Feature” enjoy your day. Hugs, Kathy

P.S. There are now 3 ways to share what you are coloring. If you want to join a community of coloring enthusiasts I recommend  FaceBook or Instagram. Be sure to tag me and use the hashtag #thedailymarker30day. Kids & young adults use #thedailymarker30daykids.

The 3rd way is to link up to my blog to share your coloring. Click here .. You will find the Inlinkz button at the bottom of the post.

P.S.S.  If you’re new to the coloring challenge or have any questions about the coloring challenge you can refer to this post.

What a great image.. I really love how you added pattern to her skirt. It’s subtle, but oh, so much fun! I think sparkle always works. Hmmm. Maybe if you had the gold glitter pen?? I think it’s enough that you totally made this stamp your own with all your little Kathy touches: eye shadow, extra bold lines, awesome coloring, shadows, texture….. Every image does not need every touch! Thanks for all the inspiration.

Love how you added that pattern to her dress, a stencil I will need to get from Tim holtz, love it. I get where your coming from when you decide to use an idea to add a feature like for the flame but it just doesn’t work so we have to re-think. done a bit of that this week. sat in my craft room on Friday and actually started the day with 3 ideas that all went in the bin, bad start and something I don’t usually do. But I decided bin it and start all over, don’t look back and suddenly the roll started so it worked …… this time. Anyway you have been on such a roll and I cant believe its coming to an end. I better catch up with my posts. I have been so busy making and not posting I am behind.
