Hello Friends, How are you today? I am so excited to be taking part in Hero Arts My Monthly October Kit blog hop! 🙂 I think you are going to fall in love with this festive kit and the price! (The kit value is over $60, an amazing deal at $34.99.)

To start at the beginning of the hop go to to the Hero Arts blog.

img_1174

My first card was created with the kit. If you watch the video click here you will see the process … how I shaded my stamped images and …. why I kept coming back to my card until I was satisfied.

Before the kit is released supplies are limited so I didn’t have all the elements … that’s why I used a different glitter in my shaker but, the kit has everything you need.

img_1175

The holly is from one of the “add on’s” to the kit. The PAPER bow was created with some green shimmer cardstock. Glossy Accents were added to the holly berries. By the way Hero Arts is selling acetate in two sizes. Here and here! yay!

img_1177

For my second project I wanted to work with some of the fun “add-on’s” to the kit. Everything is so interchangeable and super festive. The stars and the circles dies were to fun to use and ink up with versamark & emboss with rose gold and antique gold embossing powders.

To watch my Peek-A-Boo Gift Tags video click here.

The trees were embossed in the rose gold and colored with markers. I added glossy accents on the snow and sprinkled with glitter. Metallic thread was used to attach the top of my tag. Snowy dots were added with a gel pen.

I love the shaker with the chunky glitter and I’m glad you went back and put the brown base on it. Those peek-a-boo tags were so cute. I love thick embossing powder! They reminded me of lace cookies my granny used to make. They had holes and were kind of chewy. A little off subject but Christmas is all about memories.

I love snow globes and have a few. I even have an Easter snow globe with a bunny in it and instead of snow it has tiny pastel colored flowers that fall on the bunny when you shake it up. You coloring is so pretty and that snow globe looks like it’s snowing! I love everything you do. Dover Publications has an autumn coloring contest right now so I have been coloring and getting ready to post my art work. I will show you when it’s all done.
