Hello Friends, … maybe I should be saying “Hello Sunshine” 🙂
When I laid my eyes on this stamp set from WPlus9 I H.A.D. to have it. After coloring the images it was fun to add a few accents. I added Enamel Accents to the noses and really popped the “sunshine” part with some black foam.
The frame of the die cut was also popped with some black foam. Foam is really inexpensive and can give you lots of yummy dimension. This foam comes in a variety pack and it has a sticky back. I always glue together at least 2 layers of foam.
One thing to note that I did when I color these critters … I drew around the eyes to add a realistic feel … like a raccoon does. The bear in the center of the tree … was colored as a raccoon …proof that you can mix up critters. When I post the tree card I will give a few more details on that. Adorable set and I love raccoons! they are so sweet looking, but don’t mess with them. They can however give you tons of watching fun! We have them in ur backyard – the babies look like furry balloons when they run!

I love how you colored your raccoon. It does like the picture of the real one. Your card is so adorable! It really does look real. While I am not a fan of the all the critters like squirrels and raccoons because they are ruining our lawn and flowers that I have planted in pots I like your card. You always do such a nice job on all of your cards.
