Neat & Tangled Hop-Prizes-Video

Print

Hello Friends, How are you all? Do you miss my daily posts during the coloring challenge? I sure do miss you guys.

Today I want to welcome you to the Neat & Tangled Blog Hop to celebrate their 4th Birthday! Woo Hoo!  To start at the beginning go to the Neat and Tangled Blog.

IMG_4718

I have two projects for you and a video. and … Guess what .. there is a mini-release of new product to celebrate The Neat & Tangled Birthday!  You can shop for this awesome release here.

IMG_4720

Bright colors for my watercolored background really made the die cut pop. My fav watercolor paper is the Tim Holtz watercolor paper.. it makes everything look crisp and bright.

IMG_4712

To make my white layer of cardstock stand out I used the chisel end of a Copic marker for a line of color. Just take the tip of the chisel and run it down the edges of your cardstock.

IMG_4706

I die cut the beautiful wreath twice from some green fun foam. I used the negative to line up everything when I “glued” down my layers. Adding the weight of the acrylic block seals everything together nicely.

IMG_0067

For my second project I have a video to share how I created these mini shaped cards.

IMG_0066

Kudos to Neat & Tangled for coming up with such stinkin cute lil skunks! Love them 🙂

IMG_0068

Having mini cards on hand is a must have and these were so much fun to create.

PRIZES! YES PLEASE 🙂 (1) $100 gift certificate to the Neat and Tangled shop PLUS (2) $50 gift certificate to the Neat and Tangled shop!!  Winners will be chosen from comments all along the hop all week long and announced on the Neat & Tangled Blog.

Next on the hop is the talented and “wicked” Jenn Shurkus 🙂

Your mini cards are stinkin’ cute indeed! Also love the watercoloured panel on your card. Isn’t it fun (and frustrating) how we sometimes forget to put the things we know into practice? When you were adding paint to the wrong part of the tail, I was almost shouting ‘Dab it off, Kathy!’ Maybe it worked, since you were dabbing the paint off while working on your panel haha. BTW, you can also lift off colour and water by using a dry brush (simply dab your brush dry on your kitchen towel ). I do miss the challenge. Yesterday, I wished I could upload my latest projects: a STAMPlorations colouring book page and a card inspired by yours from the Creative Chemistry class.
Kali evdomada! Hve a good week!

Love your cards and the video….I’ve always been a fan, but my hubby, who is usually sitting within ear-shot when I’m watching, has become a fan as well. He and I both got a good chuckle from your s-l-o-w-w-w-w m-o-t-i-o-n-n-n-n dialog/dabbing. You are so funny. Great way to start my day watching your videos.

Loved the edge tip for card panels. Note to self.

    August 8, 2016 at 11:52 am

I do not have a die cutting machine, so I must ask for a bit of clarification on the 4th Neat and Tangled down in your instruction sequence. Mit is the picture where you are talking about the green foam. Is that a “stamp positioner”. Are you using it to cut with your die or just line up your white paper with the green foam. Please explain more thoroughly what is happening in this picture/step.
