Day 25. More Pencil Fun

Hello Friends, Today any  different than yesterday? I hope that’s a yes and that you all continue to stay healthy!

I am taking a poll on Instagram to see if you would be interested in continuing the coloring challenge. If you would like to vote … just say “YES” or “NO” in the comment area. Coloring is keeping some of us sane so I thought I would ask.

Feels so good to sit, color and finish. This stamp was sooo fun to color and making the grass blue was even more enjoyable. What I struggle with is finding the perfect pencil sharpener. Miss Ink Stamps is releasing this whimsical series on Saturday and on their blog they are doing a giveaway! Woo Hoo!

The release is sort of an “ultimate Alice” set!! Whenever I am doing some no line coloring I always reach for Gina’s Warm Glow ink because I can see what I am coloring.

For my coloring it’s all the things that I normally do. Dots, lines, sharp pencils. Black in the nooks & crannies and  make up on the caterpillar. Yesterday  I showed step 1. and  2.

I decided to put the photos together. In the OnLine Card Class I teach/taught (it’s still available) I really harp on adding darker colors and adding black to the nooks and crannies. This really brings that point home if you aren’t going for that soft look.

So I am super excited about this and I will let you know when sign ups are. Lydia is such a hoot and knows all the things and we are just going to chat about coloring and take questions. It’s free and super casual.

See you tomorrow. Hugs, Kathy

P.S.  There are 3 ways to share what you are coloring. If you want to join a community of coloring enthusiasts I recommend Instagram or FaceBook . Be sure to tag me and use the hashtag #thedailymarker30day. Kids & young adults use #thedailymarker30daykids.

Yes! One of the great things is being able looking at all the creations and seeing products that I’ve never seen before and coloring styles. It’s great to have a product and someone has used it and it inspires you.

Please keep it going! The coloring challenge I mean. I should have answered before but I am catching up on e-mail’s. I’m not on Instagram so I can’t comment there. I get what you did. You added a lot on the stamp that wasn’t on the stamp before you stamped it. That is so cool! Is this an Alice In Wonderland stamp because it looks so much like Alice. I don’t think I would use this stamp either but it’s very cool. Thank you for making us happy with your coloring!
