Day 13. Big & Bold and OH MY!

Hello Friends, How are you? Handing all this crazy ok? Boy oh boy am I grateful for the coloring challenge distraction and I hope it brings you some joy too.

Whew I forced myself to finish this and that big purple flower I saved to the very last. Wasn’t sure what to do with it plus it was at the bottom of my painting so that helped too. To claim the FREE download from Jane  (Jane’s Doodles) Digital Stamp click here. I love the expanse on the petals and the small petals are NOT to small. Loved coloring this thank YOU Jane!

Using my opaque watercolors … what I learned is that I don’t know anything more than when I started this exercise but, hey that’s ok I have never been a “need to know all the details about product” person.

Still unsure what to do … there was no way I was going to trace the flowers centers and dotting them was the perfect solution. I outlined the purple & yellow flower in black and wasn’t crazy about that so I stopped.

Starting at the top of my project I used some Cameleon fine tip markers to trace the blue and yellow flowers. Then I added some random dots, colored pencils details and pondered what do do about the bottom two flowers (that were outlined in black) They really stood out from the bouquet.

It always helps seeing it this way. It really is amazing how this came together. The big and bold purple flower was so strong but, now it fits in the bouquet with more purpose.

A few times I referred to the digital stamp for reference. (The black and white is what I traced on my watercolor paper) I am using a mix of pencils and sharpening them LOTS!

Thank YOU always for your visit. Stay healthy and have a good day. See you tomorrow. Hugs, Kathy

Oh my gosh! Thank you for the freebie to color! I am so upset right now & it has nothing to do with the Coronavirus. My printer is not working right. I am going to call HP but I thought if they couldn’t fix it, I could get a new one. I just bought ink for my printer & I’m not even close to using it up so if I get a new printer, I want the one I have so I can refill it with the ink I just bought. Guess what? They don’t make my printer anymore! They had better be able to fix it.
I love the colors you used to color your flowers. Those are colors I would have use for sure. I would have made one flower a rainbow flower though but that’s just me. You knocked it out of the park with this one for sure! I love it!

Oh my that is so frustrating! I hope you have a working printer soon.
