Day 29. Little Hands & a $50.00 Giveaway

Hello Friends! How are you? For those of you in the US how was your Thanksgiving? Or how was your Thursday? Lots of love from our home to yours!

On another note lots to share today plus a Giveaway THANKS to Gina K. Designs!

Most of you know that I love a tiny hand and I manage to sneak them in when I can. Often I travel with a tiny hand and love to shock people with that hand. When I was at Gina’s (Gina K. Designs) store a few weeks ago Rina (Gina’s daughter) asked if I wanted to do a tiny hand video with her. Ummmm YES please! That was a no brainer lol.

*Village Paper & Ink is Gina’s store.

So please check out Rina’s video and subscribe to her channel so you don’t miss our video. We had such fun creating a card with the tiny hands. Rina is so funny just like her mom. Comedy runs thick in their genes. I think Gina’s dad was a comedian.

This is the card that we managed to create with the tiny hands lol. In the video you will see it’s not so easy stamping with such small hands but, I encourage you to try it if you want some laughs.

Rina has been making cards and doing videos for only a year-ish …  her style is simple and fun. I just love everything about Rina!

We are using the “Love and Kindness” stamp set and it’s extra special. This is why.

The Love and Kindness stamp set was designed to help fund the needs of the people in the Bahamas after the recent hurricane that devasted their islands. The idea for this set was conceived by Gina K. and Jennifer McGuire. Wanting desperately to help,  they came up with a stamp set with a theme that they felt would convey the perfect message of love and kindness.

Crafter’s are the kindest and most giving people and they are always willing to extend a helpful hand. 100% of the net profits from the sale of this set will go to the Global Empowerment Mission. You can learn more about what they do by clicking HERE.

The Love and Kindess stamp set is made from high quality photopolymer. It measures 6″ X 8″ and is perfect for all kind of stamping techniques. It’s the perfect set for cards of gratitude, encouragment, friendship and love.

Filming the video was two days after my Coloring Challenge Road Trip at Gina’s store. In the video I managed to try adding a little pencil on the butterflies to make them pop. Since this was a quick video I offered to take these butterflies home and do my thing with it. The paper had ink all over it and the sentiment was crooked PLUS it’s Thanksgiving. Sigh I only had time to color one butterfly. The beautiful blue ink is Rina’s line of Electro Pop inks. Love how bold & bright the inks are don’t you?

So I made a banner out of the sentiment and fussy cut the butterfly even though there is a die cut.

If the pencil tip is really sharp it’s super easy to enhance the color especially inside the spots on the butterfly. Adding some eyelash lines around the butterfly with a Sharpie gives the butterfly more visual interest and texture.

On Day 1. of this 30 Day Coloring Challenge I showed three different fun ways to use this stencil and it’s back in stock. Yay! NOW you can get this at 25% off SITE WIDE! PLUS A FREE STAMP SET.

This ALL SEASON stamp set is free with a $75.00 purchase! This stamp set works perfectly with the wreath builder.

See you tomorrow for yet another giveaway. Thanks soo much Gina and Rina! Love you ladies! Enjoy your Friday! I am so grateful for your visit! Hugs, Kathy

With two little girls in the house we have a lot of Barbie’s and small dolls…so little hands are always in view (both kid’s hands and dolls, lol!). What fun to see the two of you playing with Gina K supplies and making something beautiful. I subscribed!

    Hi Kathy!
Oh my goodness, I love the popping blue colors! I cant believe you made a video with tiny fingers! I bet you were both crying–because you were laughing so much!

Nevertheless, this card is colorfully spectacular! I love all things butterfly. My husband gave me a butterfly garden for Mother’s Day a few years ago. We’ve entertained so many endangered Monarchs! So, you may say I’m an expert on butterflies. (or not.) So, I’m expertly saying, I love this card and message. Of course it’s Gina K. she always has great stamps!

    His,
    Traci Starkweather

What a fun video to watch, and filled with good coloring tips as well. The stencil is so beautiful, and I love the colors. It’s hard to believe that Rina has only been stamping for a short time but she gets her talent from her mother I’m sure! I subscribed to her Youtube channel and look forward to enjoying more videos from her

Beautiful and funny! My daughter made me film her strumming the uke with a tiny hand while she sang the Jewel song “my hands are small I know but they’re not yours they are my own” I’ll have to show her this!

Coloring is very therapeutic for me and has been since April of this year, since my mother was diagnosed with cancer in March and passed in August. It’d be great to win this and to have more things that take my mind away for a little while. Thank you to all for this great giveaway.
