Day 27. Dots & Another Giveway

Helloooo Friends! Wow I can’t believe that there on only three more days left in the coloring challenge. Wow! I know this is a challenging week with Thanksgiving, the holidays approaching and BLACK FRIDAY and kudos to you if you are still finding some “you” time. If you can’t that’s ok too no pressure here! Even tho it’s been crazy busy it’s been rewarding to sit down and color … all the stress melts away for me and I hope you all are feeling the same relief.

Tiffany from the Ink Blot Shop has some really cool little people that I enjoy coloring every coloring challenge. Her people are easy to color and I adore these cuties . She also has some really cool ziper pouches and pins!!

For my coloring today adding dots on the scarf and the pom pom added some interest on this cutie. I drew some fringe on the ends of the scarf and added white dots. With my super fine tip marker (0.03)  I was able to add teeny tiny lashes.

I just had to show you my favorite pouch! This would be great to color!

    I cannot for the life of me get a white pen of any brand to colour like you do! I have tried Sakura, Jelly Roll and heavens knows what else in my quest. I do it lightly as suggested. Not happening. I am white pen impaired . Love your treatment of this guy! I’ll persevere!

    During the holidays I think everyone could use the Super Power to complete ten things at once… maybe even twenty things. My husband had knee surgery this morning and after I had to go to the drug store, pick up his Christmas gift and hurry back home to bake my pies for tomorrow. Yikes! I made it though and after my company leave tomorrow I am going to get a cup of coffee and start planning out my Christmas cards. Loads to be thankful for. Happy Thanksgiving!!     Super power ! Well we all know your super power Kathy hehe. The dots idea works very well as the snow, another lesson to note done in my Kathy suggests book on my desk. It’s getting very full now. You’re right the little people are adorable, so many options on how to use them.

      SUPER DOTS too … my latest efforts with my white gel pen was a bit sad (and messy), the time before so exciting, I need to channel my inner “Kathy” and keep practicing and never give up 🙂

    One thing I particularly like about this image you shared, is that it’s so close that we can appreciate the technique with more detail. When colouring, I often look for tutorials or other works to see where I should add the shadows and highlights and I can see that pretty clear in this image. Thanks again for all you do for us Kathy!

    This is fantastic, Kathy! I love the depth in your coloring. I am just crazy about the greens you used! What a lovely color!
